The experience

Volunteering at the hostel involves helping out at the bar for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. The volunteer team consists of 4 to 5 people, creating a cozy and friendly environment. The atmosphere at the hostel is very relaxed and always cheerful. Since the schedule is only 6 hours a day, you’ll have the rest of your time to either chill at the hostel or go out and explore the beautiful city of Antigua, perfect to connect with other travelers <3

What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Bartending: Make and serve drinks and help maintain the beverages inventory.

Program Details

As a hostel, we hope to welcome volunteers at the bar who bring great energy and stay responsible with their assigned tasks. This creates a positive experience both professionally and personally, where you can enjoy your time while completing your shifts.

Activities & Shift

The bar is open from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. In general, the activities include serving customers at the bar, preparing drinks, taking food orders, keeping the bar area clean, and always maintaining a friendly and cheerful attitude with our guests.

The schedule is divided into the following shifts:
• Afternoon shift: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Night shift: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Rules

Please make sure to read all the information carefully and let us know if you have any questions. One important detail: we don't have a guest kitchen available — the only kitchen on-site is for the restaurant.
