It was really good, the hosts and staff and other volunteers went above and beyond to make sure you felt “ at home “ while you were travelling. My tasks were something i have never done before and to be fair, i really had trouble with ( party promoting and bar tending ) but it was a challenge that in the end was worth it. I ended up having to depart earlier than I expected but none the less, Queen Hostel was a very good experience for me and I highly recommend it to anybody who is considering volunteering in Milan !

I have to say that my experience with Queen Hostel was truly amazing. The day I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Gusttavo and the rest of the volunteers. I felt welcomed right away. Tereza and Francesco are very kind, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at this place. Gusttavo and Ayano are exceptional managers and very understanding. The work is relatively easy if you're not a lazy person. Do understand that during your volunteer hours you are expected to work, and some days are heavier than others. An incredible experience. Highly recommend.

I've been at the hostel for 72 days and it changed my life! This experience was very important to my personal journey and I'm a completely diferent person. Every staff member, from the volunteers to the managers and owners were so friendly that I really felt like home. As a volunteer I had the chance to know a litle bit of every task, had a bunch of fun and enjoyed the city. It's for sure a great way to travel, meet people and deeply know the life style of Milan. Strongly recomend to everyone...as a volunteer experience or as a guest! Grazie Mille! ;)

My experience was incredible. I was able to enjoy the city a lot, met wonderful people and the atmosphere is very good. The work is not heavy and the volunteers are treated very well. I recommend it and want to go back soon. Thank you so much, Queen Hostel!

How lucky I am to work and once be part of this amazing hostel! In my life, I had never served people in the hostel but visit and travel. I used to be a guest in this hostel. So I decided to become part of this magical hostel. The hostel has its own well-organized system. The staff bonds me as part of their family. They taught me so much both in life and skill. I found myself loving bartending and I would like to do more since they also drove me and show me how to be better at it. I have learned so much! I will be back here again. Staff or guest.. we will never know. Thank you "Queen Hostel"

An experience that exceeded all my expectations. Working at Queen Hostel was a pure pleasure. All the staff and volunteers were always willing to help, with a smile, and they treated me like family. I learned a lot during this time, the schedule was always respected, the work required was not hard or demanding and there was always a chill atmosphere at the bar! It's hard now to say goodbye... Absolutely recommended!

This was my first experience volunteering at a hostel and it was simply amazing! Firstly, I am grateful for Tereza and Gusttavo who gave me the opportunity to live in Milan for a while and also for giving me all the support during a week when I became very sick. I spent the cold months of December and January at Queen Hostel, and important dates like Christmas and New Year's, in a very cozy atmosphere. I felt at home and I could make some good friends! I totally recommend the Queen Hostel for volunteering, if you want to visit Milan and spend your time with really nice people.
