The Experience

Volunteers who are capable, confident horse riders are welcome to apply to stay from 3 January 2026. You will enjoy the opportunity to experience life in peaceful bushlands viewing Australian wildlife. We typically ride daily. We provide private accommodation, laundry, WFI & healthy Paleo meals in exchange for a helping hand in the garden, at home, with the horses & on the farm. We have mares, foals & young horses. Only apply if you can ride.

I was made to feel so welcome by Clare and Davo throughout the month I spent with them. There is a lot to remember but the jobs are well communicated and someone was always available for me to ask questions to. The food Clare and Davo prepare is delicious and I was treated to two meals out in my time there. I also went to a rodeo and spent a weekend away at an endurance event which was so fun. I learnt a lot about the australian countryside and was able to ride almost every day, sometimes twice which was so cool! This was a really fun experience for me and I will miss being at the farm!

Clare and Davo both really have the sweetest soul. I have learned so much during my time here! They've welcomed me with open arms and i felt at home since the minute i arrived. I completed my second 40 km ride during my stay! I have shared so many laughs with them, Davo will tell you many jokes!! I've had the best expierence and will forever hold these memories with me🤍 The horses are just amazing, they all have their own beautiful personality. I had the oppertunity to ride every day and got to watch the most amazing sunsets while riding! I would recommend everyone to stay at the farm🦩

I spent one month with Clare and Davo and it was amazing. I was able to ride with confidence again after an accident, to improve my English and to connect with a lot of amazing Aussie. I 100% recommend this experience and I hope I will be back someday

My time with Clare and Davo was amazing! First needed a bit of time to adjust, but after that it felt like home away from home <3. It was sometimes hectical and hard work because it was the season of hay, but we worked it all out together as a team.

My stay at the farm was superb. At first there was a lot of information to remember and I made many mistakes, but Clare and Davo are really understanding and patient. I got to ride their beautiful horses, I even got to do my first 40km ride! Thanks to them I meet so many new people, learnt so much not only about horses, but about life, Australia etc. If you are crazy about horses, you love to ride, adore beautiful sunsets and want to experience an amazing adventure, the farm is the perfect place 😍
