The Experience
As a housekeeping volunteer you’ll be at the forefront of our operations as part of the housekeeping team you’ll help to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness for our residents. As a dining room volunteer you'll be serving meals to our residents, cleaning the dining room and washing up. As a kitchen assistant you'll be helping the chef with deliveries, some meal prepping, cleaning and general duties.

I had a great time at the hostel! The work is definitely worth it for what you get. I did my volunteering as a kitchen porter, and basically, I just needed to make the salad, wash the pans, and keep the tables clean. The work is really easy — the only hard part is learning how to deal with the chef, who I think could often be more gentle. Anyway, Jacob is very nice and helpful, and my experience was really good. The food is also good. I would definitely come back here! Thank you so much! :)
