I had a great time at the hostel Sandeman's Allen House! It was my fourth experience volunteering and I can Say that I found there the best staff I ever found, the most accomodating, helpful and flexible. The structure Is rather minimal but functional, and the work can be a bit tiring sometimes, but It depends on the customer's affluence or on other changing factors. Besides that, the fact the Hostel offers Also two meals a day in a very expensive city like London Is an asset, something you can Always count on.

I had a really good experience at the hostel. The hostel itself is in a prime location - footsteps away from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, next door to two tube stations, quiet yet near enough to all of the action of Zone 1. Jacob and the team were very responsive to my scheduling requests once I started my studies. Thank you! Also, it is worth mentioning that there are 2 free meals each day, and enough leftovers to make s third, if you are traveling on a budget. Highly recommend!

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing experience. The location was perfect, quiet, with a beautiful park nearby and plenty of shops around. I met so many wonderful people, both staff and fellow volunteers, who truly felt like a second family. My role as a kitchen porter was simple, and the chefs were easy-going, supportive, and fun to work with. I also had plenty of free time to explore London, which made the experience even more special. I would do it a thousand times over and highly recommend it to anyone!

Two years ago I came for the first time in this hostel, and this year I wanted to go back again because I really enjoyed. I really appreciated the kindness of the team and the volunteers and residents there. It' s a good place to socialise and plan fun activities with them. Also, it is really well located, next to Hyde Park, which is incredible to have a green area like that just few minutes away. I was sad I had to leave because it has been a great experience!

The hostel Sandeman truly felt like a second home to me. They delivered exactly what was promised on the platform and created a calm, welcoming atmosphere full of positive energy. I had the chance to connect with amazing people I will always carry in my heart, while also improving my English and Spanish and immersing myself in the local culture. I'm deeply grateful for every moment spent there and I'm certain I'll return one day to volunteer again. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!
