Was a very enjoyable stay, the host family were very welcoming and friendly, Saroj spoke very good English and also informed us of activities to do which were very enjoyable. Met some other workers/travellers there too and it was a good experience all round. Food was also very good, 3 meals a day. No complaints

Working and Living at the home Farms was such an amazing experience! Nepal can certainly seem overwhelming especially when it is the first location amongst travels, but Saroj and his family most definately provided me with support about how to navigate the town always offering to help whenever needed! The rooms themselves were absolutely fantastic as well as the work. I really enjoyed the flexibility and laid-back atmosphere of my stay here and would most definately recommend to others:)

This was our first Worldpackers experience and we LOVED it. Saroj and his family were so welcoming and the food is delicious. We worked for just 2 hours a day (when it wasn't raining) chopping up trees and moving them. The rooms are large and you can come and go as you please as their house isn't directly connected. It was great to meet so many travellers from all over the world. We'd definitely recommend the home!

I had the best time here! Initially I was only staying for two weeks but extended for a whole month. Saroj and his family are some of the nicest, most welcoming people I've ever met, I learnt so much talking to them and the food is amazing. Saroj gave so many great recommendations of places to visit that I never would've found otherwise, especially the yoga class every morning. I've made so many great memories and met some amazing people here, it really felt like a home away from home. I hope to visit again one day and couldn't recommend staying here any higher!

Best Kathmandu experience if you are looking to live with the locals while also have free time to explore. Not in the city center, so you get to experience the real cultural life and being in the nature; but also not too far out, so you get to go to the city centre whenever and explore Kathmandu! Saroj and his family will cook you amazing meals, will take you to the Temple on Monday, and will give you the best recommendations whatever your plans and interests are. Had the best month I could ask for in Nepal, 10/10 recommend!!
