The family was very kind to us. I got stuck at the airport and Saroj came to pick me up when I couldn't call anyone or get a ride. I had a good stay and the food was really good

Saroj is a really nice guy and always take care of the volunteers ! We went to a ceremony together it was really nice. Accommodation is correct a bit chilly during the night but it's alright. The life in the farm is really chill as the schedules so you will have time to discover KTM. Thanks again Saroj and all your family also ! All the best !

The home was peaceful place to be in sometimes loud Katmandu. 4 km from center, but it was fun to walk or take taxi motorcycle to the city. As I came on winter, I had more flexable hours and even some more free days to explore. Room was a bit chilly during night but I had warm blankets so it was warm. Family was really welcoming and dogs adorable. Had a unforgetable evening with Saroj in small hindu temple with music. Overall a wonderful experience also with other volenteers. Thanks you, Saroj and family! 😊

Really good volunteering project in the city outskirts. Highly recommended! Saroj and his family were really nice, introducing us to the local culture and providing us amazing food. It was nice work as well.

It was very good to stay in a home like this, the family is humble ,everyone has a smile to share, the place is cozy and the way of living is authentic and familiar. The mom member is a master with the food, and Saroj is a reasonable and friendly gentleman. I couldn't be happier about my time here.

It almost felt like home. The family members were very hospitable and especially our host (Saroj) was very friendly and welcoming. We didn't have lots of work as it was winter season.Meeting people from different cultures let us experience new food as well as improve our knowledge. We spent our Christmas and new year at the home and had delicious food and fun, Would definitely suggest my friends.😊

As my first ever volunteering experience, I'm really grateful to be there. I was truly immersed in their family and you'll also feel like you are a part of their family. Unfortunately, during my stay I didn't had do that much work as it was winter season. I loved the family and I already miss them.

This was a great experience with a lovely family at their local farm! Thank you so much for letting me feel "to be a part of the family" for the last few weeks. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay, especially the culinary part, with all the cooking and shared experience of your family. I wish you all the best!

The stay with the host family was okay. However, during the entire stay, we didn't work or engage in any activities at all. This was probably because we were the only volunteers there with my girlfriend, but we expected more involvement in the household. So, for us, it was more like a hotel, which we eventually left early. Overall, I would recommend the experience; we probably just had bad luck with the timing when there was no work in the garden and no other volunteers. The family was very nice, and everyone treated us well.
