This place was just amazing. The family is really so kind and I made a good friends. I was not expecting to feel so at home and comfortable but I really feel at home. They are very flexible and understanding. I would highly recommend staying at the farm. You will have a great experience and make good memories. I would definitely recommend this place to others on my trip and possibly visit there again in the future.

Such an amazing experience staying at the home! You get to experience Kathmandu with locals that can show you things you probably wouldn't have experience otherwise! The family is super nice, Saroj will answer all you questions and mama cooks the most delicious food😊The work load is very light and flexible. It is nice getting in touch with nature and animals while being close to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu🌞 definitely join the local yoga classes down the street! We were also introduced to a free singing bowl meditation session in Thamel, that is also worth experiencing😌

I stayed at the home for 15 days and I truly enjoyed. Saroj and his family are incredibly welcoming. The homemade food is amazing and Mama cooks with lots of love for everyone in the house. I got the experience to try but also make some Nepali food like Momos. I had a shared room with other volunteers that despite it was winter looks of blankets provided to make it warm and suitable for us.They also offered free laundry service which it's extremely convenient. On Mondays you get to go to a temple where is good music and super tasty food. Give it a try to the free yoga lessons. 100%recom

We enjoyed our one-week stay at the home and we learnt about permaculture working for 2hours/day in the farm. We also met a lot of international travellers there. Saroj and his family are very friendly and his mom cooks amazing food.

Saroj and his family were very friendly and welcoming. Projects vary depending on what is needed (during my time, I got to help build/expand the animal shed and lay concrete!) It was great connecting with the group of other travelers, too. We had lots of free time, and plenty to do in the area, including the free yoga class up the road. The farm is close to Monkey temple, and the touristy area of Thamel is a short ride or ~45 minute walk away. It's a great way to see Kathmandu while being a little way out of the bustling city! PS: if you come in the winter, pack a jacket for chilly evenings!

Saroj and his family are wonderful and will always take good care of you, if you're feeling a bit sick, they will prepare you a good ginger tea on the spot to help you! Since it wasn't the best period for gardening, we didn't da lot, but we had some paint works in the house. there is free yoga courses near the house and the Monday is the temple day, Saroj will take you there if you want it's very nice to experiment :)

Saroj and his family are amazing, they will always look out for you and serve you good meal ❤️ We didn't da lot of work but then we really had the time to discover Kathmandu. Saroj can give you a lot of advices for places to visit and the best way to go there. The tasks that we did were mostly in the garden to help prepare the ground and plant new seeds, we also learned how to milk a cow and washed the goats! During our stay, we also met a lot of other travelers which was pretty nice to share experiences. Also, don't miss out on the free yoga classes, the teacher is really great!
