The time at the home was wonderfull. Saroj and his family where very friendly and open to our interests. The work itself was easy and we had a lot of time to go and do some trips and see the city. Soroj also took us to a weekly temple ceremony with locals and one evening we made Momos together with the whole family which was lots of fun (and very yummy)! We had a lot of freedom and it was no problem to skip some days of work if we wanted to visit a place in the area over night. Saroj helped us with all our questions and gave us some very helpful tips. The place has a nice balcony to chill

I really felt at home at Saroz place, it's very rustic and a simple life but the family and the neighbourhood is just lovely. I really recommend this experience for those who want time for themselves and reconnect to simple things in life. Saroz is very flexible on the work and on the time you stay here. You can come and go as you want since the rooms are separated and independent to their home. Saroz is always ready to help and gives really good advises ! They are very open to anything, I could use the kitchen and cook for myself and even cooked pizza for them !

Saroj and his family was amazing experience. Kathmandu is an amazing city and Saroj even created I nicer atmosphere bring us( all the volunteers) to a cultural events. Mamas food is amazing and the job in the farm is really nice. Thank you for everything 🙏 Namaste

I had the best time at the home! Felt at home right away. Mama's cooking was absolutely amazing and Saroj was an incredible host/tour guide/ photographer/friend during the entire stay. Looking forward to visiting again someday!

The home is an amazing place! I loved staying with a lovely family and learning about permaculture. We had lots of free time to explore the city and I enjoyed staying outside of Thamel. Thanks for the great experience :)

I loved staying here, I really had an awesome time. The work was really flexible and fun and we got to explore Kathmandu outside of super touristy areas. It was definitely worth going, and I'd go again if I come back to Nepal! Really really loved staying here. Thank you for such a great time and for being such a great host:)

Saroj and his family were awesome guests! I felt like home. By helping in the kitchen, I could learn many good Nepali recipes. The house and the farm are very cozy The working hours are very flexible and you are in a good location in Kathmandu.

Very nice stay! Beautiful food and people, loved the independence and the work load was very light so got to see a lot of the city!

We stayed here for a week and had an awesome time! Saroj was an amazing host and had a beautiful and welcoming place. The tasks we had to do were easy (weeding, planting seeds, feeding animals) and didn't take up too much time so we could go exploring in the afternoons. Mama cooks the most incredible food and taught us how to make some traditional Nepali food which we will definitely recreate at home! Overall loved this place and Saroj and his family, highly recommend!!
