The Experience
La tarea consiste en ayudar a la Bartender en la atención y servico de las mesas y tambien en la limpieza del Gastrobar/Gastropub. Si el voluntario tiene alguna actividad musical, artística, creativa, fotografía podra aplicarlo en el Gastrobar/Gastropub. El voluntario se puede comunicar en el idioma que se mas cómodo, però en las mesas tiene que dirigirse en Español o Catalan.

I had a very nice time at the host. I helped out in the kitchen for four weeks. So I worked all the time with Rodrigo - which was a lot of fun, Rodrigo is a very friendly and empathetic person, well organized with great cooking and explaining skills. From the beginning I felt very welcome by Betsa, Rodrigo and Rafart which was special for me. I could improve my Spanish, learned more about cooking, experienced the life in Solsona and the beautiful surrounding nature. With Betsa and Rodrigo I quickly felt at home. The apartment in which the volunteers live is simply but nice.

Solsona is a beautiful medieval small town, you can enjoy the cozy atmosphere and people with many opportunities to immerse into catalán culture and learn this place "the host" it's just to exchange cleaning or cooking for accomodation and food, the owner doesn't have trust in the volunteers, he always review the apartment and never is satisfactory the cleanning and duties in general my Expirience not was the best, but I got it stayed nad have a new job, thanks

If you love cooking, you will enjoy and learn a lot at this place. In the summers, the tasks may seem a bit tiring but fun at the same time. You also get an opportunity to meet volunteers from other countries too. Rodrigo and Betsa were really helpful in every way.
