This was my first time applying for a volunteer position, and I couldn't be happier to have been selected by the guest house and to become part of this community. I'm truly grateful to Audrey, Ai, Andra and all the staff, as well as the other volunteers, everyone here is incredibly kind, welcoming and always willing to help. the guest house really feels like a big family. The work is well organized, clearly divided and very easy to learn. Beyond the work, there are frequent volunteer activities and even free Japanese classes. I highly recommend the guest house to anyone and I would absolutely come back again!

I can't reccomend the guest house enough! It is now and will always be my home away from home. All the staff, as well as the other volunteers will have a place in my heart forever! With volunteering, the job hours are very fair, and they were always open to day-off requests or whatever you need. Staying at the guest house is one of the best choices I've made and I'll definitely be going back if I can!

I had an absolutely wonderful time volunteering at the guest house in Hirakata. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming and kind. The sense of community here is real; I made so many amazing friends, and there was always something fun to do with the group every single week 💖 amei!

One of the best experiences of my life! Hirakata is a really convenient place to stay. Some of the volunteer spaces need a bit of work, but they are working on it. Everything was clean and comfortable anyway. The job itself was easy and the agreed working hours were respected. But the most important thing was the family I found. The sense of community in this place is the main reason to apply for this volunteer. Group activityies are organised every week, and you'll meet locals and other travellers. Ai chan and Audrey are great hosts, who helped and took care of me from day one. Thank you! ♥️
