The home is a wonderful place to volunteer. Kris and Andreas are both wonderful hosts, and more than willing to be flexible regarding travels. They also offered many suggestions for places to visit. The tasks are clearly communicated and the food is amazing.

This was my first trip with worldpackers but I am so glad it was, I spent 4 weeks here at the home, kris and andreas are both lovely people and amazing hosts they were so welcoming from the first moment I met them. l I loved that we would have lunch together every day cause it gave us the chance to get to know them and hear some amazing stories from andreas but also experience the wide range of recipes from kris, while I was here we never had the same meal it was always something different from all over the world and all of them were full of great flavour.

Andreas replied

A delight to have such great volunteer around the lunch table, enjoy one or another outing and share in the large variety of projects on the church hillock.

My first volunteer in Scotland couldn't be better! Since the first meeting the hosts were willing to help and teach. The work was very well explained and always done as a team. Besides that, we always had (the best) lunch together while sharing stories and experiences. Can't thank them enough.. Andreas and Kris are an example of hosts, wish all the best for you both.

Andreas replied

Grateful having made such in impression on our volunteer; always like to see our volunteers as independant members of our extended family, enjoying their time with us whilst being part of our creative work.
