The Experience

We’re looking for a hands-on volunteer to join us mainly during the month of March, when our surf house will be closed for light renovations before the summer season starts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys more physical work and helping with basic repairs, building and maintenance tasks. Some experience is a very welcome, but not mandatory. Volunteering schedule is around 25 hours per week, with 2 days off.

It was a really nice stay with a lovely team! Everthing regarding the shifts and the work is very well organized. Everyone knows what Tasks are to be fullfilled and you have checklist to make it easy and efficient for everyone. The hosts are taking care a lot about how the volunteers are feeling at their stay, their needs and that everyone has a good stay. They were always there regarding questions or if someone needed help with anything. I would highly recommend this volunteering expierience :)

I really enjoyed my time at Aldeia. All the people there are amazing and very kind. Poli, the manager and Lukas, the owner are the best and always there for you. I was doing housekeeping and morning shift, both were very easy to learn and to do. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves surfing, watching the best sunsets and being part of the community. I will definitely return! :)
