Hi, Hey there, Iβm Masa, born and raised in Niseko, and I run a cozy accommodation right at the foot of the amazing Annupuri ski slope. If you're a ski or snowboard enthusiast craving that perfect "JAPOW" powder snow, this is your dream opportunity! Weβre looking for friendly volunteers to join us, and in return, you'll get: β¨ Free accommodation (private or shared β first come, first served!) β¨ 3 delicious meals a day!

The host was able to make you feel comfortable. Always social encouraging you to strive for your goal and teaches you about the any questions in the Japanese culture from teaching the language to how they act.

The stay itself, the work and Ram san and Gurung san are incredible. The work is not hard and never goes overtime, you get your own room and 3 meals per day, even when you don't work. That being said, be aware that there is really not a lot to do around the hotel except hiking, you can't really practice Japanese, the communication with the host is non-existent and this review is only valid for the off-season from May to November. YMMV. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality, Ram san and Gurung san, it was a pleasure to meet you and I will come back to see you again.

I loved every day at the hotel, Gurung San and Ram San are incredible and kind human beings, Niseko is a really nice and quiet place, tasks are easy and fun if you get along with the other volunteers, I loved to be with nick and carol from Brazil, I'm happy to say that it felt like home and I surely have a new family here at Japan, hopefully, see you soon!

I had a great time here! While there were some early questions about communication, once I got to the property everything was great, and they were even able to accommodate me coming a day early (with notice). Ram-san managed the day-to-day and he was very friendly and helpful and respected our time and cooked us great food. The area is absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to get some hiking done, although if you want city life you should likely go somewhere else. The work was a mix of cleaning, kitchen work, and physical yard work, and never eant over time. Loved it
