The Experience
Hello! My name is Joao and I own a Hostel in Porto, Portugal. We are always looking to host dynamic, responsible people who want to help out in exchange for their stay. Knowledge of English is crucial, knowledge of Portuguese is a big Plus! Spanish also good. Work includes: performing check-ins, general cleaning duties, taking care of Greta (our mascot dog) and helping out guests with local tips, etc.

The experience in the hostel couldn't be better, the vibe in this place is amazing! João, Marta and the other volunteers are incredibly nice, I felt at home all the time. The work schedule is very flexible and gives time to explore the city and surroundings, to meet people and enjoy the beautiful Porto. I feel very lucky to have found this place. Next week I'll be back as a guest haha Thanks for everything and see you soon!

Minha experiência nesse volunturiado foi incrivel!! As terefas do hostel são tranquilas, os horarios são bem flexiveis e davam pra conciliar com meus estudos. O anfitrião João é bem gentil e contribuiu muito para eu ter uma boa estadia. Fui muito bem recebida pela governanta Marta que criou um ambiente bem acolhedor, ajudando a me sentir em casa desde o primeiro dia. Aprendi muito com ela e sou muito grata pela convivencia. o hostel se tornou a minha casa e eu fui muito feliz nos momentos que vivi e com as pessoas que conheci. Foi uma experiancia que eu vou levar pra minha vida todinha!!!

Minha estadia no hostel foi muito boa! O João foi um host ótimo e super flexível com as minhas datas. A equipe é sempre presente e divertida; adorei a Marta e seu marido, e acabei fazendo amizades que tornaram os momentos ainda mais especiais. O trabalho é tranquilo, dá para conciliar com outras atividades, e a flexibilidade é um diferencial. E, claro, a Greta é uma fofura que conquistou a todos!
