I had an amazing month here! Julius is always there if you need anything or any kind of help — he really takes care of the volunteers. The staff members were also very kind and friendly with me. Had the best time in riga, this was my first time doing volunteering and i've met people there who i will hold close to me for life, big thank you to my fellow volunteers brandon, lena and jp. they truly made the experience the best. and i can't forget the wonderful receptionists and the big man himself julius. i recommend anyone to go there it's a beautiful hostel and the local community and culture there is truly beautiful :) i will miss the hostel 🥲🩷

I had an amazing time at the hostel's. It felt like a second home. The vibes in the hostel are super warm and family-like. The receptionists are incredibly kind and always helpful with any questions! Julius always took our preferences into account when making the volunteer schedule and explained everything very thoroughly during training, so everyone knew exactly what to do. This was my first volunteering experience and I'm really grateful for the time I had there!

My stay at the hostel was truly wonderful and a perfect first Worldpackers experience. Julius made sure that we all had a very clear idea of what to do at all times, and was always available if we needed anything. He was also very generous and it was clear that he really wanted us to have a great experience. The administrators in the hostel are absolute stars - they are so hardworking and super welcoming, making you feel right at home. I also really found a family in the group of volunteers that I was with and that made my experience so special and unforgettable. Thank you so much Julius !

The hostel exceeded all my expectations for my first Worldpackers experience. The owner, Julius, is professional and generous, with high standards and a willingness to teach. The staff are incredibly friendly and will guide and welcome you. The work is 4.5 hours over 5 days, with fair shift allocation and flexibility. I did housekeeping but was always encouraged to run social activities like trivia and bar crawls. My advice is to just apply. It's a great learning opportunity at one of Europe's best hostels. Special thanks to my amazing volunteer cohort - you made it extremely special.
