I could not be more grateful for the last 5 weeks spent here and can wholeheartedly recommend this experience🤍 This hostel attracts some of the warmest caring people; volunteers as well as staff. Shift times were always respected and the days off give you a lot of time to wander around Lisbon's streets, the work itself is very manageable as well!! the hostel truly felt like home and I will cherish these memories forever, thank you for everything :)

Positive: Good communication, good teamwork, support among volunteers. Negative: It starts with the night shift and the week becomes difficult because it's impossible to sleep well; I got bedbug bites and nothing was done about it; the laundry is literally only meant for 3 or 4 people per week, and there are 6 volunteers.

This was my first volunteering experience, and it honestly couldn't have been better. I met wonderful people who made my stay stress-free and easy. The schedule and work were very straightforward and not too demanding. I had plenty of free time to explore Lisbon and nearby areas. I am very grateful for this experience ✨

Volunteering at the hostel was overall a great experience. There is a structured working schedule and the tasks are chill. It's easy to connect with the other volunteers and the guests as well because of the cozy atmosphere. So I've met amazing people from all over the world. I truly recommend it, especially as a first volunteering experience!! :)
