We are a fun, multicultural and busy hostel located in the heart of the beautiful city of Lisbon. Our goal is to provide a lifetime experience not only to our guests but also to our staff. Over the past 13 years, we have gotten the privilege to work with amazing people from all over the world that became part of our family <3 So if you want to get away and have an unforgettable time then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

My experience in the hostel was amazing, I really enjoyed my time there, is a chill hostel with easy task to do, i meet the best people ever, also the hostel offers a boat party and pub crawl and tours, that's really enjoyable to enjoy your visit in Lisbon, i highly recommend this place,.

I had my first volunteering experience at the hostel and it couldn't have been better. From the very first moment it felt welcoming and I met amazing people from all over the world. On top of that the hostel has a great location and the working hours were perfectly balanced, giving me plenty of time to enjoy the city and travel all around Portugal on your 3 days off per week. Truly unforgettable, I highly recommend it!

I volunteered for almost a month at UGH and time flew by! It was such an amazing experience. The hostel is close to the center and Lisbon quickly became one of my favorite cities. The staff is super friendly, the shifts are simple, you learn fast, and there are plenty of days off to explore. With so many volunteers, it's always fun to make plans together. The pub crawls and boat parties are a big plus! Just note that common areas close around 11 or midnight. Don't hesitate to go!

So grateful for my time at UGH. The staff, volunteers, and guests made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The shifts are reasonable, you get plenty of free time, and it genuinely doesn't feel like you're working (more like hosting 50 strangers at home). It definitely exceeded my expectations for my first solo trip❤️

Volunteering at the hostel was one of my best experiences! I had the chance to meet amazing people and live unforgettable moments in Lisbon. The schedules are respected, the work is easygoing, and the accommodation is excellent.All the people were amazing, both the staff and the volunteers who were with me. Everyone was very welcoming and made me feel at home. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore lisbon because the location is simply perfect for this.
