The experience

We are a fun, multicultural and busy hostel located in the heart of the beautiful city of Lisbon. Our goal is to provide a lifetime experience not only to our guests but also to our staff.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night shift tasks and create a relaxing environment for guests.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

3 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Portuguese

Between 18 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Program Details

We run a great hostel with a beautiful family vibe.

If you join our team, your main responsibility will be to support and interact with guests on a daily basis. You will also be in charge of other tasks such as bed making, basic cleaning and breakfast set-up.

As the summer approaches and we expect things to be a little busier - hopefully! - the hostel will also host events. We expect that the volunteers help with ideas, planning and of course, having a lot of fun with them!

You do NOT have to speak Portuguese to apply, but must be able to work a minimum of ONE MONTH.

Activities & Shift

We have two types of shifts:
Day Shift & Night Shift

We both shifts the activities vary from making beds, put away the groceries, showing the hostel around to the guests, etc. All supporting activities to the main operations of the hostel
