I had a great experience volunteering at this hostel. Michel and Franklin were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. On the top of the list is the accomodation they provide for the volunteers. It's a cozy room on the top floor with couch, tv and a terrace! The tasks were easy and manageable, usually involving cleaning, helping guests, and keeping common areas organized. I also had plenty of free time to explore the surrondings. Overall I recommend this experience. It's especially recommended if you want to meet other international travelers!

The hostel is not a hotel, it's a school of life where friendship & kindness are the currencies. Volunteering at here was life-changing. Michel & Franklin are not just managers, they are leaders with rare humanity, treating everyone like family. Here, everything you give returns tenfold in smiles, respect, and warmth. Add Donatello the turtle, Tori, Kiwi, Joop, Bram & Marcel... you get pure magic!!! The volunteer room? 5-star vibes with TV, couch, terrace (only jacuzzi missing 😏). the hostel is more than a hotel: it's home, it's family, it's a school of life where love is the real luxury. ❤️

My personal experience was very good. The volunteer accommodations were great, the tasks were reasonable, and the schedule was followed as agreed, with some flexibility when needed. For future volunteers, everything will go smoothly as long as you work responsibly and follow the instructions as they are explained. Thank you Michel and Franklin for everything! Maybe I'll come back one day :)

I had a really positive time volenteering at the hostel. The hostel has a relaxed atmosphere with the weekends being more busy. It is located in a wonderful part of Eindhoven, close to beautiful parks and the city center. The hostel owners are nice people who have ran the hostel since the early 2000's. The common room is comfortable with a pool table and the volenteer room feels homey. Volenteering here gives you a chance to meet intersting people, see a more normal side of the netherlands, and get hostel experiance. ps Burgers is a free music venue on the same block, they throw great live music most nights
