The Experience

There is always a lot of recurring and entertaining work to do around our place, so we sure need help. We can get an extra hand in restoring walls and cleaning the small houses, for example. I hope to meet people who love to stay, to help and to enjoy the nature. We live in the south of Italy and are blessed to have this beautiful place. The shifts are in the mornings, so we have the rest of the day free. No drugs, please.

I had the absolute best experience at Isca with Iris! This was my first worldpackers experience and I didn't really know what to expect but the 3 weeks I spent here completely exceeded expectations in every way. Iris is so amazing and caring, the work was varied and fulfilling - especially out in the orchards, and the place itself is sooo beautiful. August was a great month to be there with so many local festivities going on and this meant I was able to connect with locals and learn a lot about the culture and language, which was a huge bonus. Truly such a phenomenal experience!!

I had such an amazing first World Packers experience on Iris's farm in Isca! Iris is such a wonderful host, always providing clear work instructions, respectful of working times, creating new & interesting tasks for us to do everyday, and including us in her trips into town & to summer festivals & markets. Iris was so welcoming & passionate about her farm and the Isca community. I will miss our tea breaks & snorkeling at the beach with her! Isca is such a small but unique town that holds so much character to it & land surrounding it is absolutely magical & the local community is so welcoming!

Although I was only there for two weeks, I had a great time. The location is awesome, it just gets a little hot in the sun. The work can be hard but feels very rewarding. The tea and snacks are superb, and my legs are very in shape. I would definitely recommend to come for three or more weeks to really live the life and see all that is around Isca. Thank you Iris and Martín for everything 🤘

This was my first world packers experience and so so worth it, Iris is truly a lovely person. The work was satisfying and we never worked over time. It was a welcoming environment to be in, I'll miss the tea breaks ! Isca is a wonderful place to be, in the first week I stayed in the chicken house (amazing views) and the next week in the riverhouse watching the fireflies. Iris was able to give us lifts to san andrea, soverato and the beach when our plans crossed over and the journey back was never difficult, it's a beautiful, safe space in southern Italy and I hope to come back in the future.
