The Experience

We're looking for a volunteer to help clean, do housekeeping & general maintenance and possible gardening on our quieter days in exchange for accommodation. We also cook pancakes each morning for our guests. This role is generally 2-3 hours per day, 6 days a week. Sometimes you may work a little over 3hours & other days you will work less. Our hostel has a friendly, chilled out vibe and is close to town, beautiful beaches & the Koala Hospital.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel! The work is manageable and fair, with around 2 hours of work every day. The hostel is a beautiful old house that quickly feels like home. But what made my experience so memorable was the people - Ben is a great host, friendly, funny and welcoming. I also made some amazing friends, that quickly became like my family, in the other staff and guests! I would highly recommend this worldpacker experience for any the hostel who are looking to experience a slower, more relaxed aussie lifestyle!

I had a truly lovely 4 week stay here. I met some amazing fellow travelers, especially lots of girls I really clicked with and had so much fun with. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, it genuinely feels like a little family living together in a small house. I'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment

This was my first volunteering experience and it was absolutely amazing! Since the first day PMB felt like home. I love the hostel, it's very cozy. Everyone was so lovely and friendly, you become like a big family. The task are pretty easy and fair and Ben is a great host! Thank you, Ben for this amazing opportunity!

I planned on volunteering at PMB for just one month, but ended up extending for two because I loved it so much! The hostel has a homey and welcoming vibe allowing me to feel very comfortable right away. Everyone from the other volunteers to guests were friendly and easy to connect with. Ben, the owner, is amazing and always around if you need anything and genuinely cares about creating a great environment for everyone. The work was easy, fair and well organized, with plenty of free time to explore. This was my first Worldpackers experience and has completely exceeded my expectations.
