You help us at the reception and with the general maintenance of the hostel, we cover your stay in a dorm, laundry, employee discount at our restaurant, and help you to plan your time in beautiful Puerto Rico (beaches, tours, trips, mountain hikes - just ask!). I have a wonderful time volunteering at the hostel. The work was very easy and I had a lot of time to explore the local area. There were some occasions where I wish I'd had a bit more support as unexpected things would happen - such as guests being booked into the wrong rooms or there not being enough keycards - and it was hard to get in contact with Carlos to sort these things out. However, it was overall a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend!

I had an amazing time in San Juan with the hostel team, I felt very welcomed. Carlos has great communication skills and is very honest and direct with what's need, also he is very flexible to make sure you have a great time in PR. Hostel is not big which is great from my perspective as keeps everything more simple and easy going. You will be the only volunteer, but most of the guest are friendly and you will find someone to hang around. I will definitely plan to come back. Thanks Carlos, Eufra, Nakina and Argeniz, hope we can see us soon again!
