The Experience
Hello there! We are a small independent hostel in the centre of Edinburgh, with a maximum capacity of 69 people. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to help us with daily tasks and making the guests' experience as fantastic as possible. We are ideally looking for help with cleaning and checking in guests. Hostel and social media experience is preferred but not essential. Livi & Hugh x

The managers and all the staff are amazing. It was a beautiful experience. The working hours and days off are respected. I really recommend this place and I would come back. It is never too much time in Edinburgh :) <3

My experience volunteering at the hostel was great! The hours are fair and respected, the work is straight forward and easy, and the team is wonderful! The location of this hostel is great too, situated right on The Meadows (a gorgeous park) and only a 15-20 minute walk into town. Overall I would highly recommend this hostel and volunteer experience, it truly did become a home away from home to me during my stay here and I'm so grateful to Livi, Hugh, Jed and the fellow volunteer team for making me feel so welcome 🤗

I had the best time at here, thank you Livi, Hughie, Jed and the rest of the team for making me feel like a part of the family! I didn't want to leave! The work is straight forward, easy and the room was comfortable. Highly recommended and will hopefully be back ❤️

This was my second time volunteering at the hostel, and it couldn't have been better. Livi, Hugh, and Ged are wonderful, the atmosphere is super cozy, and everyone who works there is really friendly. The tasks are easy, the hours are respected, and the schedule is very flexible. The location is great, just a few minutes from the Old Town and close to The Meadows Park. I can't wait to come back again. I highly recommend this experience!

I had such a great time at the hostel, the location is great, the hostel is very cozy. The staff are super nice and welcoming. The tasks are easy and give you lots of free time to enjoy Edinburgh. I wish I could have stayed longer, highly recommend 🫶🏻
