I really enjoyed my hostel experience. The hosts are very nice and always willing to help when needed. The vibe is great and the environment they provide gives a good feeling of being at home. The activities are easy, so I had time to enjoy and explore the beautiful city, even in winter. The hostel is well located and accessible, with supermarkets nearby and one of the main parks.

The best experience I had! The place is nice, comfortable and clean. The tasks are easy and they are flexible with hours and days. The hosts crew are really nice and caring about volunteers! Eva the best!

My experience at the hostel was very good. The work was good to handle, maybe a bit exhausting but easy to do. I met very nice people at the hostel but also other volunteers and had a lot of fun.

The hosts and volunteers at the hostel were great!! Everyone cooked, explored the city, and went out together. Zagreb is a cute but small city so you may have to be creative for your afternoons since you also only have one day off a week. (Rijeka and Plitvice Lakes are great day trips though!)

I worked at the reception, it was a lot of work, especially on the night shift. Despite that, it was a really nice experience!

The experience was very awful. You are supposed to work as receptionist and they make you da lot of laundries and dry them all. In other places there are other people who do that job, not receptionists. The staff is completely incompetent: - Anja is never here; - Eva is egocentric and wastes a lot of time chatting with people, sitting on the desk leaving the following person a lot of things to do and is used to complain when in fact the biggest lack of professionality is hers. During my shifts I have listened to a lot of complaints of many guests and I couldn't do anything.

Unfortunately Simone was not able to fulfill tasks on the reception. He was just not capable to do any of tasks given to him and also lacking social skills. He was not paying any attention while his training and also he is not able to concentrate. Also sometimes I was not sure if he even understood me in English. Considering all of that we moved him on the housekeeping but he was not able to to that neither. We were really trying to find a position for him but he just doesn't have capacity for any position that we needed and also he was rude in the end. He has some mental problems and should seek for adequate help.

The hostel is very well located, near to markets and restaurants. Mia, anja and specially Eva are very sweet and always ready to help. The job was ok, the reception part is easy to manage except for the laundry that was a little tiring. I loved the whole experience, it was my first volunteering and I would definitely recommend.
