I worked at 36 hostel for my volunteering. It was an amazing experience all the staff were amazing and the hostel was very nice and clean. The works was very easy because it is a smaller hostel. The location is also great!

I really enjoyed my stay in the guest house. The staff was super friendly and I was able to socialize with a lot of travelers, not only foreigners but also japaneses. Hiroshima is usually a place where people stay one or two days so is always busy, even so, you will always have help from the staff to finish on time or even before the schedule. I leave Hiroshima with only good memories, ¡thank you for the opportunity of helping in this amazing hostel!

Loved my experience here! There were three other volunteers which made the cleaning duties easier and more fun. And having two off days per week and the afternoons free was so nice to sightsee around Hiroshima and spend time in nature. :)

Just know that they have two hostels to work at and you will be put into one and not see the other. They are the guest house or 36hostel. I was at 36hostel and it was a very good experience. The accommodation is personal capsule which is very comfortable and cozy. The work is standard cleaning job. 3-4 hours per day, maybe the beds will be difficult if you haven't had previous experience but otherwise everything is easy to pick up on. 36hostel is the perfect location, near the a-bomb dome, Main Street and museum. It was a very pleasant stay. Hopefully you get to talk to Keipei he's awesome.

I spent two weeks at 36hostel and I loved it. Majority of the time I worked alone, but it is really doable (if you manage your time well). The tasks are straightforward and if you need help it is always given to you. Sung was amazing! She gave me the best tips on where to eat and always came if I needed help (even when I didn't ask, she just showed up to help me). The location is amazing as well, right next to the park!! Thank you so much!

This is a wonderful hostel! If you are looking for a perfect place to work in Hiroshima this is it! I have never worked at such a clean, pristine, and organized hostel before. It is in such a good location in the city, just a 2 minute walk to the peace park. The staff are very accommodating and care very much. I have made wonderful friends and memories here and would defiantly like to stay again in the future.

So this experience was absolutely phenomenal! The environment and the hostel itself is gorgeous, sustainable, cozy and clean! You can easily make friends! Not to mention that the host was incredibly welcoming and so friendly! Song is very hardworking and the hardest worker I have met! Song and I have become really close within the time I stayed. One of the best people I have met in my life. This is the first time working at a hostel and experience with Worldpackers but I would not have wanted it any other way! :) Thanks Song!! 🖤

It was my first time volunteering abroad and my stay was amazing. It's a great place with wonderful people. The guesthouse is well-located and the interior is clean and cozy making everyone feel at home. Ryoko-san and Fumi-san are kind-hearted and helpful people. The work can be a bit overwhelming at first but with time you'll get used to how everything is done. I highly recommend this place to everyone looking to travel around Hiroshima and connect with other travelers. I feel extremely grateful for this experience and everyone I met there. I'll definitely be back to visit in the future :)

First time using worldpackers, and everything went great. The whole experience would teach you to value even the small details of your work. At first, the job will be overwhelming but as you get used to it, you'll be fine. I came here to learn the difference between the Philippines' and Japan's culture of hospitality. And I'm so grateful to have learned a lot. This was all possible because of Fumi's and Ryoko's trust with the staff. But most of all, I made really good friends with the staff and the guests. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. I'm so lucky to meet everyone!
