Alter do Chão is absolutely worth it to visit. I have never been to beaches before with that clear and calm water. In the town you find everything necessary and every week there are the same musical events happening. Working together with Marlene and Caio is a great experience with clear communication and Marlene helped me with literally everything that I needed. For me this hostel offered exactly what it needs to have an amazing time and to connect with the guests. So work and free time where lots of fun at the hostel. Please continue hosting in that perfect way <3

Voluntariar no hostel foi uma experiência incrível! Marlene é uma pessoa incrível, atenciosa, respeitosa, comunicativa..eu me senti super em casa aqui com ela e os outros voluntários, hóspedes e gatinhos, como se fôssemos uma família. Estou com saudades já e com certeza quero voltar pra Alter do Chão e pra esse voluntariado! ☺️🥰

Hostel limpo, bem organizado, excelente localização, anfitriã super amiga e acolhedora, demais voluntários e funcionários muito amigáveis e parceiros, horário das tarefas super tranquilo, 2 folgas na semana... espero que os próximos voluntariados sejam assim também.

Fui para ficar 1 mês e acabei ficando mais de 3 meses no hostel. Marlene é como uma mãe para mim e Alter do Cão, se não for o lugar mais bonito do mundo, disputa com facilidade o topo dessa lista. Gostei muito da vila, da floresta, das praias e do voluntariado, sou muito grato e pretendo voltar o quanto antes! Recomendo a todos. Vão conhecer a Amazônia!

Minha experiência no hostel foi incrível. O hostel é muito bem localizado, fica bem pertinho de duas praias, do centro e dos comércios. O serviço é tranquilo e as tarefas são bem definidas. Todos os voluntários passam por um treinamento e isso facilita bastante.
