Alter do Chão is absolutely worth it to visit. I have never been to beaches before with that clear and calm water. In the town you find everything necessary and every week there are the same musical events happening. Working together with Marlene and Caio is a great experience with clear communication and Marlene helped me with literally everything that I needed. For me this hostel offered exactly what it needs to have an amazing time and to connect with the guests. So work and free time where lots of fun at the hostel. Please continue hosting in that perfect way <3

Fui muuuuuito bem recebida por toda a equipe. A Marlene é ótima e trata todos como parte da família. O hostel é limpo e confortável, fiquei na recepção e ajuda na limpeza, tarefas super tranquilas. A localização é perfeita próximo de tudo em Alter. Alter do chão é incrível uma energia surreal que me acolheu omo se fosse casa. Pra quem gosta de gato o hostel é um paraíso os pequenos são tranquilos e alguns gostam de carinho. Marlene sempre foi bem clara com as tarefas e deixa abertura pra sugestões. Muito obrigadaa espero voltar em breve.

O que dizer do hostel, tive a oportunidade de passar nesse hostel em 2022 e foi uma das experiências mais lindas de minha vida-viagem e agora em 2024 voltei e foi tudo lindo novamente. Obrigado Marlene e todos que fizeram parte disso. Abraço!

Estivemos por pouco mais de 2 semanas no the hostel. Tínhamos um checklist para as atividades e realizamos tudo conforme pedido e a anfitriã Marlene todo dia passava as tarefas do dia seguinte e era sempre bem clara e direta. O Hostel está muito bem localizado do lado da praia do cajueiro e da ilha do amor, além de estar no centro da vila de Alter. O combinado do voluntariado foi cumprido tanto da parte da Marlene, quando da nossa parte. Desejo sorte e bons ventos tanto para Marlene quanto para o the hostel.
