My experience in the Language Studio was great! Russell, the host, is an amazing person and very comprehensive. Also, he always made sure that we had plenty of food in the accommodation (rice, bread, eggs, instant noodles, milk, cereal, carrots, potatoes, etc). Furthermore, the work hours were always respected. The work is during the evening, so you have the whole day to explore the city. In conclusion, this is a very good place to volunteer.

My experience at the studio was truly amazing!! All the other volunteers and Russell were so kind and fun to be around, it really felt like being part of a little family. The work was so amazing, because it let me dive into Korean culture in a way I never could have otherwise. Daejeon is such a calm and cozy place, perfect for long walks and just taking it easy. I'm so grateful for this whole experience, it's something I'll never forget. Thank you so much, and I really hope we get to meet again someday! 🀍🫢🏻

I had done the same kind of job in Seoul, and the experience was as good as in there. Although Daejeon is a smaller city with less things to do, it is very cozy and better for taking a break from the big metropolis. It is also close to several mountains and other cities, so you have plenty to visit around. The work is very fun and both the people from Daejeon and Russel (the host) are really nice. The accommodation is very comfortable, even with many people, and the schedule is sometimes even shorter than announced.

The past three weeks in Daejeon have been unforgettable! I'll miss the wonderful students, supportive coworkers, and our amazing host, Russell. Daejeon, unlike bustling Seoul, has a quieter charm that takes time to appreciate, and its central location makes exploring nearby nature and cities easy. The accommodation and food are among the best in the industry, and the work is both enjoyable and meaningful, offering the chance to connect with locals and build lasting friendships. If you enjoy connecting with people and immersing yourself in local culture, this program is perfect for you!

I had such a nice time in Daejeon! If you like quiet and peaceful it's the right place! Russell was also really sweet and the job was fun and easy 😊 he gave a lot of food as well I was surprised, made a lot of economies haha The only thing is maybe the accommodation is a but small but that's a detail if you're well organized with each other haha I recommend it! 😁

It was my first experience, so I didn't know what to expect. But it went really well, Russell is kind and helpful. We shared the house with 7, and shared good times too, I met wonderful people that become really goods friends. I had a lot of fun with the locals too, it's a really good immersive experience to meet Korean locals. it's exactly what I was looking for. the work is easy and leaves us time to visit South Korea and the city of Daejeon. Don't hesitate to go to Gyeongju and Jeonju right next door!

IT WAS GREAT! Rusell is really kind and helpfull, you can ask him anything, I think we will help! The apartment was nice, even though we were sharing seven of us, it was nice and I felt during the whole month like I am at home!!! The working itself is nice as well, the conversations are 50mins one and I had usually under 15 a week, two weeks it was 11, most of them are really nice, sometimes it is harder because of the english level, but the people are trying and they are always kind. The only bad think can be the city itself for you, its not Seoul or Busan, but I didnt mind at all!! APPLY

I had a great time volunteering at the language studio and sharing the apartment with the other volunteers. The work was not too hard, as it was just about having conversations with the students. Also, Russell is a very kind host and always made sure that we had everything we need. I recommend this place

This was such a fun experience. The work hours were very chill and you get lots of breaks during your shift. It was a very great way to meet locals and get their recommendations on activities in the area. For the living space, all the backpackers live in a shared accommodation- so it was easy to make plans with each other. And if we ever had questions or trouble, just text the host Russel- was he so kind to help. Everyone makes you feel welcome and the language studio was a really easy environment to get used to~! I recommend this place if you want to visit Daejeon.
