I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 weeks volunteering at the guest house, it's an great opportunity to meet and chat to friendly locals as well as international travellers whilst learning about Korean culture. The hosts are helpful and they do their best to make sure you have a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend :)

I can easily say my experience was better than anything I imagined! The respectful, helpful, and constant caring environment was the key to my +2-month stay in the Language Studio, making me a bit nostalgic and sad even about having to leave. The staff made sure to keep the harmony and take care of us as much as they could. Also, really really great location!! The great memories will definitely make me want to go back.

The Language Studio is a great place to volunteer! I had conversations with many Koreans and often had fun talking with them. Russell really tries his best to make you feel welcomed and help with anything. If you volunteer here, you will stay in an appartment with the other volunteers, which is cosy and fun! Meals were not provided but basics such as cereal, bread and ramyeon were. Daejeon is also a lovely place to stay, with a relaxed vibe and many restaurants. I had a great time, even though it was short!

This was my first volunteer experience and in my opinion I could not have been luckier. Through this experience I was able to build friendships with amazing people from all over the world. For me the work at the language studio was so much fun, so I looked forward to it everyday. The language studio is a great place to get to know people and to get to know a bit about the Korean culture.

I really loved my experience here! The language studio is a great place for locals and for the volunteers. Got to have many really great conversations with the locals, and even made friends. Daejeon is a city with a lot of places for nature-lovers, and the location for the dorm and studio have great connections to everywhere in the city. The hosts are encouraging and kind, during my 4 weeks I felt like had a home and family here. Would recommend!

This was a great opportunity to meet locals and talk to them about almost anything, it helped me familiarize with the Korean point of view and I actually made friends, which I'm really happy about. The city is very peaceful and people were really nice to me. ☺️ I leave this experience with many happy memories

I stayed shorter than planned because the group of volunteers that were there when I arrived didnt really have any group dynamics/ werent really social. Everyone was kind of depressed and we didnt do much together. Daejeon is not as bad as koreans who are not from daejeon say it is. There is indeed not much to do and it is a little boring but it is very relaxing and calm there and the nature is really pretty. But if you only go to daejeon i cant recommend this city. The work is really okay:) The host Russel is very sweet and gives korean lessons every day.

Me encantó para conoscer la cultura local y conoscer a nueva gente. Tuve tiempo libre para visitar nuevos lugares. Considero mi estadia en Daejon una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida que nunca olvidaré.
