Overall good experience ! Through the volunteer I was able to have interesting discussions with many locals with different backgrounds. It made my experience in South Korea more meaningful. Since all the volunteers live together I got to met incredible people and we became close pretty quickly. Sometimes it can be a lot because of the mess and the noise but most of the time, it's great because you always have someone to do something with. Harry, one of the new manager, really helped us to feel welcome and appreciated. He even cooked for us once !

The staff were very nice to me from the first day, they explained everything to me clearly, and if I didn't understand something they had no problem repeating it to me again. The work was very easy and the students in general are wonderful people, some of them have even become my friends. Regarding the apartment, it is true that it is very small for 10 people and it can be uncomfortable to live there, and also sometimes the neighbors are very hostile, but these are things that can be solved with communication. In fact, with the volunteers I never had any problem, they were friendly with me.

Met so many nice and kind locals wanting to be friends and became very close with the other volunteers from all around the world. The work can be a little hard sometimes, but not impossible! Overall a very nice and memorable experience. Definitely coming back to SK! Thank you managers 😊❤️

MJ, Daye and Harry made me feel welcomed, supported and safe starting from day 1. On my first day Daye gave me an overview of my tasks and encouraged me to let them know of any troubles I might have, which I greatly appreciated. I enjoyed my job at the studio a lot. I was able to have many interesting conversations with locals and I would've stayed longer just to continue some unfinished discussions. The stars of my stay were my fellow volunteers though! They quickly became like family to me. Keeping things tidy is of course a struggle with so many people but it's all up to communication.

My one-month experience was not only very transformative but also extremely healing. I have been able to leave the program with are lifelong friends and a deep respect for Korean culture. It is so rewarding to work with individuals from different backgrounds in a shared environment for different purposes like improving language, figuring out future goals, exploring the world. I am sincerely thankful for the kindness, mentorship, and friendship that MJ, Boss Young, and Daye showed me during my time there. I wish I could better express my gratitude, so all I will say is that I hope to return. <3

Working at the studio was super fun and definitely very interesting! It is a unique opportunity to meet local people that you would not meet while sightseeing as a regular tourist. I felt like it gave me a better understanding of why certain things were different in Korea, since you can pretty much talk about whatever interests you or the person you are talking to! The hosts and the other travelers were amazing people and even though I have only been there for 3 weeks it felt like everyone became family and that made this trip a very special one for me!

My experience at the language studio was amazing! MJ, Daye and Young were great hosts, always willing to help and make improvements for everyone. The other volunteers were the best friends I could ask for during my stay — we really connected as a family, and I even got to practice my Spanish as well. The students were also fun, I could make friends among them. Although, the house is quite small and there is only one bathroom, so be prepared for that. Overall it was a great experience, and I couldn't have asked for better as my first time volunteering. 10/10, totally recommend!

My experience here was truly amazing. Even though the first week when I came here, the apartment was pretty messy, little by little we get to establish some rules for the cleaning duties and everything improved a lot. The work is very easy, even for an introvert like me, you get to know super nice people in the cafe, the managers are amazing and will be willing to help you with anything and make you feel like home. Overall, I recommend this volunteer program since it will help you see Seoul in a totally different way.

This experience was really amazing for me. At the beginning when I arrived the appartement (to be honest) was terrible. Very messy and the other volunteers didn't try too hard to make me feel at home. But after a while things started to change a lot and it's been amazing. The hosts take feedback and are always looking out for us. As soon as we let them know something is wrong, they do everything they can to make you feel at home. The students are also very fun and make the experience really exciting! It's so easy to make friends (even for an introvert) and I am so so grateful for my time here
