My days at the Center were amazing! I have no words to describe all the love and affection I received from everyone there! If you are willing to learn more about yourself, and you are open to also unlearning all your certainties about life, I would say this is a great place for that! I nominate with all my heart!โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

It is a wonderful place, where you can find peace and tranquility in the middle of nature, D. Punya and the rest of the team are loving, respectful and willing to help you in whatever you need. You can learn a lot about the Center and practicing English or other languages โ€‹โ€‹with the team and the other volunteers, the activities are easy to do. But the experience is definitely more enriching if you go with your mind and heart willing to learn. I was very happy and I hope I can return, the Center is already part of my life Thank so much

My stay in the temple has been very enriching on every level. Being able to commit to the Center everyday was remarkable. It is sometimes difficult but the experience is worthwhile.

Beautiful and peaceful place where you can truly be close to nature and far from the buzzing city life. The monks and other staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to experience local culture and cuisine, as well as to learn about Buddhism and the Center. The work can be physically challenging but it's nicely distributed throughout the day so you don't get too exhausted. Overall I had a good experience, but if you don't like hard physical work like digging and carrying heavy stuff, or you are scared of insects, reptiles or dogs, then it might not be the right place for you.

The female monks were great, and I enjoyed the time I stayed at the Buddhist Center. It was really nice to get to know their religious and cultural beliefs and habits. Although I think that you don't have as much free time as in most other volunteering places. And only two monks talk English, so I didn't learn as much as I imagined. But all in all it was a great experience and I'd do it again. Thank you so much ๐Ÿ˜€

If you're just looking for a place to stay in Thailand so you don't have to pay for accommodation and don't mind working hard for the Nuns in the 35 degree sun from Sunday to Sunday with no days off, this place is for you. But if you are looking for experiences of a spiritual nature or to actually learn about Buddhist philosophy and the Center, without dogmatic contamination, look elsewhere, as in Thailand there are several other projects that help you develop spiritually and as a human being, as it promotes true experiences of self-knowledge, among others.

I strongly advise against this place. The person in charge, Punya, displayed rudeness towards us and others. She openly boasted about her wealth. Although they claimed to teach about Buddhism, they discouraged questions and demanded obedience. They failed to educate us properly. From the start, we felt uncomfortable due to the excessive displays of wealth like a Mercedes and their cultish practices. Our attempt at a normal conversation ended in the main โ€œmonkโ€ shouting with no provocation. They are a misguided sect of Buddhism according to Thai people we spoke to. Easy work, 2 meals.Don't go

I tried writing this review many times but there isn't enough word allowance for my experience. I will say this, the work and rules are exactly as listed. I had an awful experience. This is a cult. I left on day three. Another volunteer treated me terribly and yelled at me in front of everyone. Later that day the main โ€œmonkโ€ yelled at me as well. I later spoke to my Thai friends about my time and they said this isn't how real monks behave and we were def in a cult. I want to give the full story with all the pros and cons but unfortunately I can't. Anyone can message me for more information.

Being at the Center was a good growing experience. I won't lie, it's hard work. It's a lot of landscaping in the high heat. But along with the Center, waking up early, and the general structure of the place it teaches you discipline. You learn a lot about Buddhism and the lifestyle of the monks as well. I'd recommend this for travelers who need to rein in for a few weeks and seriously work on themselves. Not so much for the faint of heart.
