Firts experience as a volunteer and it couldn't been better! I highly recommend this place. Here you'll find pace, respect, beautiful people, caring, kindness and mindfulness. During my staying Punya was travelling so we had the lucky to be the students of an ex volunteer who had became monk. We learned a lot about Buddhism and had the chance of practice a lot of the Center during or free time. I'd love to come back here soon! This place change my life and will be home forever ♥️

A wonderful place to discover more about Buddhism, the Center and the mind. Punya, the head monk, is very kind and intelligent and is always there to help you. It was my first experience with the Center and learning about the self and mind, for sure it was a really cool experience. The only down side was one of the dogs made the volunteers a bit uneasy. Be sure to explore the neighbourhood in your free time, take out the kayaks, talk to locals and take the public transport to the local markets! Learn about the Center or if you need to challenge your life values!

If you wanna learn more about the Center and buddhism I would really recommend this place! You get the chance to get to know yourself and relax in nature at the same time. I really enjoyed my stay there! The task are easy and the food is really good. While I was there, there was a young monk there who taught us a lot about buddhism.

I don't understand all the positive reviews about this center. I've had a very negative experience. There is not teaching at all about the Center and Buddhism. One talk in seven days. Yes “we do meditate” but like you can do it on your own at home. So follow a youtube video. I only agree that is a beautiful and peaceful place. But it's too big to be handle for four monks that's why they ask for volunteers so we do the work. They ask for donations for everything. The laundry is not free, as they say, you have to pay for it. We didn't have toilet paper because not donations, so buy it!

This was the best experience ever!! Was my first volunteering and I spent a really fantastic time. Punya is a beautiful human and when she talked with us , she inspired us and We learned a lot. For me It wasn't a exchange of work, I feel was like a spiritual retirement and also, I met very nice people. the Center “team” , I mean , other Bhikunnis (women monk), Beam Beam and Rose, are amazing too, was like to have a new family . Working there , it's almost same that doing at home! Cleaning, feeding dogs , washing ...You should do it and you never will forget it! Btw, I loved their dogs jaja

I recommend this place, if what you are looking for is to escape the routine to find yourself. You meditate, you are in contact with nature, and you have a calm and fresh pace of life. The hosts are great, friendly and kind. You will always feel accompanied and safe. I would go back to this place a thousand times. Do not hesitate to know this lifestyle

One of the best experiences ever! the Center centre is a really beutiful and peaceful place where you can discover more about yourself and the Center. It's like being at home and Beam and Rose will help you whenever you need and you can learn a lot from them! Come here if you are really interested in learning about the Center and living this experience with the right spirit. the main tasks are cleaning, feeding dogs and other stuff like painting (really funny for me) and from 5 am till 10 am. Then you have a lot of free time! Have fun and enjoy this experience!
