To be my first volunteering experience I'm satisfied, I was able to practice English, hear different accents, I met people for all over the world and I learned a lot from them. The tasks were easy, Class was flexible when we made some special requests for days off. I spent a lot of time on the first shift which is the most demanding, opened the door all day long was a nightmare, all guests must receive a key, last of all I would do it again :)

A great choice for a first volunteering experience. Claas is really flexible with shift planning and easy to talk to. I was able to plan my days off and travel with the other volunteers when I asked. Always reachable by phone and has our back when needed. Claas also had some great recommendations for locations to travel to around the hostel. During peak season, the hostel may get overwhelming in the morning, but other than that the jobs are easy. Really enjoyed my time in homestel the hostel, definitely recommend giving this place a shot.

It was a great first volunteer experience. I made really great friends for life. Class was a great, able to teach and understand situations. He has specific humor so since you understand that it's a pretty nice guy. First day i got stressed when see everyone knowing what to do but it's normal and actually pretty easy when you get the hostel vibe. In general it's a pretty chill atmosphere and just being nice with everyone helps a lot in your shift. The morning shift can be really busy sometimes because you're alone to deal with that. Food was hard to understand but Class use to be open!

My volunteering experience at the hostel was wonderful. The balance of working days and days off (to explore the rest of the beautiful country) is great. Tirana is a good home base to be able to connect to other places in the hostel. Claas is a great guy. He is hard working and genuinely cares about his volunteers and guests. He is funny and easy to please if you work hard and respect his hostel. The work is reasonable. At times it can feel a little hectic jumping between cleaning, reception and operating a slightly outdated checkin/booking system, but there is also plenty of downtime.

I had such a wonderful time at Homestel the hostel ! I was made to feel very welcome and the work was very fair. Claas was super flexible with workdays, to allow us to travel around other parts of the hostel. Everything was as agreed and it was such a fun environment. I would recommend Homestel the hostel to all Worldpackers! the hostel is beautiful and Tirana will always hold a place in my heart. I hope to be back next season ♥️

It was really nice staying here. I enjoyed the time so much. Claas was really a good cook and chill. The tasks are generally easy to learn and do. you can also organize your free time easily and enjoy your time in the hostel even outside the hostel. I def recommend to spend your time for Hostel Alabnia

I've had luck since I started doing my volunteering. the hostel is my second country so far, and the country it's beautiful. Claas cooks very well, and he has been gentle in helping me plan my trips around the country. The chores are easy, and the job is not hard at all.

Although I was not able to volunteer at this property I volunteered at Claas' other hostel and had a wonderful experience. Absolutely lovely team led by the wonderful Franc who is so incredibly helpful and understanding. You get three days off a week to explore surrounding areas which is a huge perk and the chores are easily manageable. Overall I had a incredible experience!

Santa Claas!!! hohoho I had a great time in Tirana and for sure would love to come back, the tasks in the hostel are very simple and Claas explains everything clearly and respectfully, he is very flexible when it comes to scheduling shifts. I'm sorry if I happened to be a bit distracted in one ocassion or two I sincerely appreciate the understanding and patience, as well as the delicious dinners that he had the detail to prepare for us.
