This was my first solo trip abroad, and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. The hostel's location is wonderful, with large shared spaces and a private area for volunteers where you can have some privacy. The bar is definitely a highlight, a place to hang out, work, and have fun. Work shifts are communicated weekly and vary from cleaning to working at the bar to socializing with guests. The staff was welcoming from the very beginning, and I was lucky enough to bond with the other volunteers, building friendships that made the experience even more meaningful!!

As my first volunteering experience, I couldn't have chosen a better place. The facilities are in great condition — you feel at home from the very first moment. The staff you'll work with have an amazing human quality. They make you feel included and useful at all times. — everyone is just lovely and makes you feel like a real part of the team. Working hours go by quickly; the shifts are fun and entertaining. I'm so grateful to the whole team and to the group of volunteers I was lucky enough to share this experience with. Thanks to Luiza for welcoming us in such a lovely way.

I had a great time at the hostel! The place is very clean, with a large outdoor garden and lots of great facilities. The work schedule was exactly 25 hours per week, as agreed, and everything was well organized. I got along really well with everyone I met, the staff, the guests and the volunteers were super friendly and kind. Overall, it was a really positive experience and I'd definitely recommend it to other travelers!

My month adventure at the hostel was super relaxing; I really had a great time reading in the garden, eating free breakfast, and learning some Portuguese. The volunteer space is clean and comfortable, and away from guests (so we have some peace before and after shifts.) The staff were super warm & welcoming, and anytime we needed help, someone was available. The tasks are straightforward and these are great skills for young travelers to learn. I had such a great experience at this hostel and highly recommend it! Thank you to the staff for making my time worthwhile!

I had an amazing time at the hostel!! The hostel is in a beautiful location with a big garden and an open-air bar, spending time there is a pure pleasure. The tasks are not very hard, but the hostel and the bar are quite busy so be prepared for an actual work, but also a lot a lot of fun!! The volunteers' room is not in the best condition tho but the time spent in the hostel makes up for any inconvenience:)) highly recommended, thank you guys for letting me share this experience with you!!
