Not only is the hostel a beautifully kept hostel, it's also the working space for so many beautiful personalities. This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have wished for a better one. Throughout my stay I got to work both housekeeping, breakfast, bar and host social activities for the guest - the work is more than fair and Luiza is a fantastic volunteer host! I had an absolute amazing time at the hostel and I'll definitely wanna come back to visit both Thiago and his herbs, Louis, Andrés, Vanessa and also just to be in the beautiful surroundings again 🌷

I couldn't recommend the hostel more! The work is well described and what they say, and it's not too hard. The staff is great, especially Thiago and Luzia. You really have a chance to get to know the staff and the volunteers. You meet volunteers from all over the world and I definitely met some friends for life there. The hostel and garden is beautiful and a great place to chill when you aren't working, but the hostel is also within walking distance to any main part of the city and some great viewpoints. Would definitely come back!!

As my first volunteering experience I can say without any doubt that I highly recommend spending a month of your time here in the hostel. The most important thing for me has been the outdoor space that the hostel offers: the beautiful garden has been crucial to my daily life inside the hostel, it gave me and the others the chance to enjoy the weather, each other's company, meals etc surrounded by nature. The room itself was not the best and I hope they can make it more cosy and welcoming. I met a lot of new people and made strong connections with the other volunteers, I would do it again 100%

Oohhh my god I loved my time at the hostel! Staff members are hilarious, I loved working/chatting with them and everyone made me feel very welcome x my fellow volunteers became a little family and we spent everyday together exploring the hostel which there was plenty of time for before/after a shift and on days off. Some work was harder than others but truly nothing was too much, you're always working with full time staff and shifts are five hours. Bar was super fun but busy at time and you actually learn bartending skills, thanks Tiago and Luiza hehee. Would definitely recommend :) beijinhos xx

I had an amazing stay at the hostel. The hostel is beautiful and clean but my favourite part was the huge garden and the bar. I loved to chill out there. The hours were respected, the tasks were totally fine, the staff were super kind and helpful, it was a pleasure to work together with people like Vanessa and Fernando. Btw, some Spanish and/or Portugese knowledge is very useful. :) All in all, I highly recommend to volunteer at the hostel in the hostel. :)
