My experience at the hostel was awesome! I really felt welcomed and part of a family by working here. The staff is very responsible and helpful. The manager, Barthel, is very friendly and is all the time available to help if we have any questions. The owner, Alexey, is all the time connected and ready to answer any question that we have on Telegram. The tasks are very easy, usually we finish all the cleaning in 2 hours and the rest of the shift we just need to stay at the reception to help some guests. I extremely recommend this hostel.

It was a great experience. I felt welcomed and part of the team: Barthel is the manager and he always could help me understand the tasks, Asya is the old Lady that is always making good and local food, and Alexey it was always available to talk but online. As my first experience volunteering I'd totally recommend Ten the hostel. I did trips and climbing in Vitosha Mountain by the hostel. The Hostel is very quite and familiar, it's a place to know new people and chill in Sofia. Also is close to the metro station so you can go to the center every time you want to just 1,60 Leva.

This was my first volunteer experience, so, I felt myself at home! The staff is really awesome, Bartel is so friendly, Alex is a great leader! Asya, cooked for us almost every day. I loved everything, the work isn't hard. The hostel is close to Metro Station and Supermarket. I hope can come back in few months or years! Thanks for everything the hostel family!!!

Really cozy hostel. The quiet area surrounding the hostel provided a peaceful atmosphere, and the proximity of the metro station (only 300 meters away) made it easy to explore the city. Asya, Bartel and the other volunteers were such a great company and made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Sofia!

Be in this hostel as a volunteer was and is because I'm still here in the moment that I'm writing this because I had the opportunity to stay more time, really good, is a place where you can have peace and share with the team and learn from them, the tasks are easy and you can have a good communication with everyone, I recommend this hostel 100% you are going to have really good memories. Definitely I want to come back in the future if is possible. Thank you for everything 😃

I had a good experience at the hostel and enjoyed getting to explore Sofia! The hostel is small and quiet and not very near the city center, but it is right by the metro. The tasks are easy and hours are as described. The only thing I would improve is that the training was extremely minimal, especially with reception tasks, but a volunteer was frequently left with no staff in the hostel and expected to run the entire reception after not being properly trained on everything needed for that.

The owner and the manager are very nice. The hostel is not downtown but it's easy to get anywhere with public transportation. But keep in mind that is a cheap hostel, so expect everything to be very cheap. And be prepaired to receive a lot of weird guests. Overall is an ok place, could have some improvements on the hostel structure.

My experience in the hostel was nice! The tasks were as agreed and timetables respected. The volunteers room is together with the guests, which sometimes was not nice, because they think we are working all the time. But it was fine! Other volunteers were really nice and Bartel the manager was always there to support us. We didn't see the owner, Alexey, but he was available all the time on telegram group, and responded really quickly when we need. There is also Asya, one nice (but stubborn) grandma who lives there and always give us food - even when we didn't want to eat! Hehe thank you all!

The tasks and the schedules are exactly as explained. There was food every day, at least a sandwich. The leadership is responsive (Bartel is always there and Alex answer the messages very fast). The hostel operation needs the volunteers, so there is much trust. Sometimes Asya, the woman who cooks in the hostel, has a way of subtly asserting her wishes, even if they occasionally conflict with the tasks at hand. But she is thinking about the wellness and fun of the volunteers. The hostel is very close to a metro station and a very good supermarket.
