The Experience
Hello from the most beautiful city in Japan: Kyoto! We are looking for cleaning staff for our Guest house :) Work is 3h/day with 2 days off/ week, and in exchange you get free accommodation and free coffee/tea from our cafe! We need responsible and tidy people who likes to clean and is interested in living in Kyoto for at least 2 weeks. If you feel you fit, and want to come over here, we will be happy to host you! I had a really good experience in the hostel. All the staff was warm and welcoming and the work was very simple. Usually we only worked for two hours so you will have a plenty of free time. The dorm is very comfortable and you will have a lot of privary in your own pod. The hostel has also a nice common area with kitchen where you can socialise with the guests. The hostel is in a good location and it is possible to do many trips around Kyoto and nearby areas. Would definetly recommend this volunteering experience!

Absolutely adored my stay in Sign (the hostel) Guesthouse. The team is so kind and helpful, very respectful and quiet working space, much better than expected facilities and lovely, clean and friendly guests. I would like to stay with them again soon!

I stayed for 2.5 weeks and it was my first Worldpackers experience. I could easily adjust to the new environment. The staff especially Wira made me feel really welcomed and introduced me to the other workers. I could easily connect with the girls that also stayed there. The work was super fair and manageable. I was a little bit lost at the beginning since I didn't know where everything was but I could always ask someone. So all in all a great experience I would love to come back sometime.

I had such a good first volunteer experience at Santiagos Guesthouse!! The host and all of the staff were super friendly and helpful and they really made me feel welcome at the guesthouse! The work was easy and was only about 2 hours, after that you are free and you can enjoy your time in Kyoto. The guesthouse is near to a lot of nice cafes, restaurants, temples and the river. The hostel is cozy as well and has a nice common space! I really had a good time and met a lot of great people, so i can definitly recommend😊
