I had a wonderful experience at the farm! John and Linda are extremely warmly hosts and help you with everything you need and they do their best to make you feel comfortable. Everyday we had dinner together wich was always super delicious. The tasks were always varied and i learned a lot about farm life. Definitely a family away from home! Would always come back. Thank you!

Lara was exceptional and quickly became like a member of the family. We miss her cheery personalitty and know she will excel in whatever she does and be a blessing wherever she goes.

Time at the farm is such a treat. John and Linda are extremely kind hosts who want the very best for you. I've learned so much from my time here on the farm. From throwing slop, to learning to prepare a chicken, to using a screwdriver, to chopping weeds, to eating kangaroo, and hanging out with emus, this is truly an unforgettable experience. Come prepared to get your hands dirty and learn a lot :) Bring good working boots if you have them! John and Linda are the best and have some old farm clothes you can borrow as well so you don't destroy all your stuff. Grateful for my time here!

John and Linda are so INCREDIBLE! I've learned so much in just 2 weeks and so grateful for them and my time here. Other travelers here have also been such a highlight. A working day is 3 hours in the morning, 2 hours lunch break, then 3 hours in the afternoon. Jobs and roles changed daily which made it fun and we kept learning so many new things. They supply food for breakfast and lunch and dinner is together every night! So many laughs and solid conversations around the dinner table! Highly recommend spending some time at the farm! You'll learn so much!

We had an unforgettable time with John & Linda!! They are both very warm people and the farm offers everything to make you feel at home. You also gain valuable experience in making decisions and your own life. You also have the chance to exchange ideas, try amazing the farm dishes and learn a lot about the others at the shared dinners, which was very nice. The stay on the farm was definitely one of the highlights of our 4-month trip. Robby tries to get the best out of the time for all the volunteers and to make it unforgettable. We will miss the farm!

Very nice and calming place. Depending on the season you are there work can differ very much. You are purely in nature and you experience calmness throughout the entirety of your trip. It also expands your horizon very much.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! This was my first Worldpackers trip so I didn't know what to expect, and this was entirely better than anything I could have imagined. John and Linda are so welcoming and were amazing hosts. I can tell they are really passionate about what they do, and that they go out of their way to make sure that everybody has the best time possible at their farm. After leaving the farm, I felt really inspired to love my work as much as John and Linda love running their farm and hosting volunteers. I also learned a ton about sustainability!! 10/10❤

The farm was my first volunteering experience and I don't think there could have been a better place to start. Linda and John are such lovely people, you immediately feel like part of their family. Not only do you learn a lot about farming, but it is also very important to them that you get something out of it for the rest of your life. I really enjoyed my time on this beautiful farm. Thank you Linda and John for having me :)

My volunteering experience at the farm with Worldpacker was my first, so I was a bit nervous about how everything would work out. However, Linda and John were incredibly friendly, and it felt like I was being welcomed not just as a new volunteer, but as a new member of their family. I truly enjoyed my time there. The farm is also really beautiful and is the perfect place if you want to reconnect with nature.

I'll say when I first arrived at the farm it was a bit of a shock, it had been a long time since I had camped in a fairly remote area, but John, Linda, and then team made me feel so welcomed and over my time I came to really enjoy and honestly love the farm. I'm quite sad to be leaving. It is definitely hard work, but very worth it. I learned so, so much from John and Linda about sustainability and business and Linda is a phenomenal cook! I will say I've gotten very accustomed to eating chestnuts almost every day, so it will be strange not having them so regularly. Highly recommended.

The farm was the perfect place to start our journey into volunteering. I've never met anyone quite like John or Linda before, they are kind, helpful, and fun to be around. We loved the variety of tasks that we were given and learned so much from it. It really felt like it was important for them to see us develop and improve in areas we enjoyed and were good at. We stayed in a Caravan wich was very cozy, and if we had any issues they would help us immediately. Thank you for this life changing experience! We will certainly be back in no time! 🤗
