My time at the hostel will always hold some of my favorite memories and favorite people I've met on my travels so far! It's a really cool hostel with a team that respects volunteers hours and schedules and works to make it a good experience for them! I mainly worked with reception and showing guests to their rooms as well as housekeeping. If you have any questions they are there to answer and help you out along the way. I've made incredible friends with the staff and guests alike and will really miss this place that I've learned to call home the past month and a half <3 :)

The hostel is the best in Zagreb. Valentina is really Croatia-Mexican woman, and she is a good leader and lovely person, the staff are amazing group with mix Latino-Croatian culture ( Goram, Dana, Iva, Jaksha). The activities are easy, and you get 2 days off per week, You can enjoy the parks, free drinks and make your break-fast as you are (Vegan or Vegetarian). So I don't have more words to explain my experience in my other house in Zagreb. Thank you for all, are the best.

The experience in was much shorter than planned because I had covid. However the hostel is nice and most of the people who work there too. I would suggest this volunteering for people who wants to develop their skills in the hostel industry. I felt that you can learn a lot there, but if you want to have fun and have a good time I would do it only during summer time :D. After all, I had a short, but pleasant time in Zagreb.

Travelers need to know a few things here: 1 - I could actually bet that no other place will make you feel as welcomed and comfortable as Valentina makes you at the hostel. She makes sure you have a total of 0 problems throughout the whole experience. 2- the other volunteers/staff were AMAZING and were always around to help you and make you feel at home too 3- job hours were always respected, and even when they needed some extra help/hours they would pay for them. 4- The tasks were very easygoing ! 5- You will leave wanting more, of the hostel and Zagreb! Thank you SO MUCH for everything!

First time volunteering & loved my time at the hostel! Schedule was given in advance and work hours were respected. Tasks were easy to complete and most of the time was spent showing new guests their rooms & engaging with them in common areas. Dorm accommodated up to 9, but for majority of the time there were 7 of us which was more than enough. Would be a little nicer for there to be more light in the room as it is pretty dark and if the mattresses can be updated since they're sagging, but overall space was good :) Made friends that will last a lifetime + got to explore Zagreb so all good :)

My experience at the hostel was very good. A wonderful hostel, with organised and defined tasks, engaging staff and amazing structure. I love my room and the bathroom inside it! The shifts could be hard work or quite relaxing, depending on the schedule and what the hostel needs from you. But all doable, with fun and space for creativity. They have allowed me to use my best skills and were always opened for new ideas. I def recommend the hostel to anyone. A special kiss to Valentina, she's just an awesome supervisor! \o/

I wanna thank to all the people I met in the hostel. Most of them were friendly and made my stay fun and comfortable👍 I had a great time cooking at the super kitchen at the hostel :) Also I had a super fun time while working with the girls at reception and the guys in the bar. :) Pam, Philip, Anitaaa, Neno, Vale, Ante, Katy, and many others I cant remember right now. The tasks are not complicated, the schedule allows to do other activities. And if your native language is spanish you ll be surprised at noticing how many people in the staff speak some spanish (Telenovelas vocabulary jaj) Gracias!

I have no words to discribe my staying at the hostel the staff team are so nice the staffs at the bar reception the managers ... thank you guys so much for this 2 months living here the atmosphere is amazing I'll miss all of you guys ;)
