This was my first Worldpackers experience. I wasn't really sure what to expect staying in a favela or volunteering. It turned out to be a positive experience for me. The place was stunning well organized well kept. I don't think you'll get a better view in Rio for the price. Great people great vibes great place.

Minha experiência no hostel foi verdadeiramente marcante! Durante o mês que passei lá, fui envolvido pela energia contagiante do local e pela segurança do hostel. As tarefas eram bem distribuídas, tornando o trabalho tranquilo e agradável. Embora o hostel precise de alguns reparos, a atmosfera calorosa e receptiva compensa! Destaco especialmente a liderança do João, que foi sempre compreensivo, paciente e presente, tornando a experiência ainda mais gratificante. Recomendo esse voluntariado para qualquer um em busca de aventura, novas amizades e memórias inesquecíveis! ❤️

A primeira experiência no hostel foi receptiva,construtiva e confortável! O bairro é muito seguro, a flexibilidade e a boa comunicação dos anfitriões e do João foram essênciais para uma rápida adaptação! O morro e as escadas são um motivo pra celebrar a vida! Mercados perto, comparados con outros lugares do rio, estão a bons preços. Gratidão e muita luz!

Fue una muy buena experiencia , el hostel se encuentra en un lugar en el cual puedes conocer la cultura local y la playa está abajo del morro. Me recibió joao fue un muy buen anfitrión , muy amable , servicial , indicaba muy bien las tareas por hacer las cuales eran sencillas. El lugar es cómodo y limpio, se hace fácil adaptarse ya qué hay mucha flexibilidad con respecto los quehaceres. Yo tuve que acortar mi estadía y fue bien comprendido en el hostel. Recomiendo mucho este voluntariado para saber de cierta manera como es vivir en una favela, conectando con las personas y eso.
