I spent two weeks here as per agreements. The work is easy , the tasks are as described in the profile. The owner explains and teaches you how to do it. Schedules were respected. It starts at 9 am or 8 in the morning, for 5 hours.Jhon picked me up at the Letterfrack bus station. During the time spent there I went to visit some very beautiful places close to Tully, and the owner gave me his bike. Remember that it takes a spirit of adaptation, and that is not strictly a holiday. The places is a bit isolated, but into the amazing cliffs and close to the sea.

I am extreamly disapointed and very surprised to receive a negative review from Alessandra. I was under the impression that she was content during her stay and at no stage did she give me any feedback ,and if she had I would have tried to remedy whatever was bothering her. I totaly honoured my commitments as per my profile to her and I showed her good Irish hospitality as I do to every volunteer that comes to my house.

John is a great host. He is very caring with his volunteers and cooks delicious dinners. He suggested me places to visit and even offered to drive me there during my days off. I recommend this experience to everyone.

I had a wonderful time working alongside John. The bnb is located in a beautiful rural area, with the beach only a 10-15 minute walk from the front door. John took me along to go into town where I got to walk around and drove me to other sites as well on my days off. I was also able to use his bike and check out areas he recommended. The work and hours were exactly what was agreed upon; kitchen help and housekeeping. John's a great cook and made me feel right at home to help myself for lunch when he wasn't around. Overall a great experience, and I'm grateful for my time there.

This was my first experience but it exceeded my expectations! John was very kind, he recommended us places to visit and sometimes he even accompanied us. The B&B is a bit isolated but if you like being in contact with nature and seeing beautiful landscapes then it is the place for you. The activities are also those written on WP and respect the expected working hours. I was also very lucky with the other travelers who were with me with whom I had a great time especially the girl who mentioned me in her review ahahaha It was an unforgettable experience, Thanks John!

This experience was my first one, and I couldn't have asked for a better one! The B&B is located in a peaceful and friendly place where you can connect with the nature surrounding you. The tasks and work that you do are exactly what is on the description, and everything is fair and clear. John is a really nice and friendly person and a great host. He advises you where to go and makes fantastic meals. I was lucky with the other volunteer who I shared the experience with. She is a really nice girl and I enjoyed a lot of our conversations. Thank you a lot for the amazing experience, John!!

I honestly couldn't have hoped for a better first experience. The B&B was a bit further away from the next city, but that made the stay all the more enjoyable, because you got the chance to explore the nature and connect with the people there… John was welcoming and friendly from the beginning, he always made sure everyone felt comfortable. The work there was great as well; even though we didn't have a time schedule, everything worked out in the end and you didn't even really feel like you were working most of the time. So thanks again for the great time withe you, John… :)

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it couldn't be better! I had a wonderful time in the guest house and got immersed in rural Irish lifestyle. John is the perfect host: he would share stories with us, make sure everyone feels comfortable, give you a ride if you need it and cook delicious meals! The tasks are exactly as described in the profile and mainly done during the morning, so you'll have time in the afternoon to enjoy the landscapes of Renvyle. If you're thinking of applying..don't hesitate and just do it! You won't regret it!!!

John gave me the opportunity to do my first voluntee, and I could't be happier and more grateful to him, he's an excellent host, always concerned about our needs, an excellent chef, he prepares delicious traditional dishes, it advises you where to go for a walk and gives you a ride when you need. I really found a Family here, and couldn't have had more luck having 2 amazing fellow volunteers. The tasks we performed were very simple; in my daily life I honestly hated ironing, but here listening to music or chatting with the girls it was so enjoyable 😁. THANK JOHN FOR EVERYTHING

I had a great time at the guest house B&B! The tasks are easy, the dinners John cooks are delicious and I really enjoyed the evenings at the local pubs with John and the other volunteers🍻. Here uou will learn about ponies, turf, fry-ups, washouts and much more, you will drink a lot of tea and of course you will iron a lot of fitted sheets😜 In your days off you can explore Connemara on foot or by bike. The mountains and beaches in Renvyle are really wonderful 🥰 I met lovely people and felt at home at the guest house🤗 I absolutely recommend this experience to other volunteers!
