I really enjoyed my stay in the hostel. I helped there during the low season, so the most of the tasks were related to maintenance, as painting, reparing and construction. Besides, the hosts have a permaculture project where you can help as well with gardening/construction chores. I learnt a lot about this kind of tasks, the hosts are patient and explain well how to perform the activities asked. The hostel is huge and nicely decorated. It has a cinema room too! Thanks you guys for your kindness, I felt welcomed since day 1. the hostel, a home away from home! 😊

I learned so many different things while helping out at the hostel. I got to see the rural and green side of Albania, learn how to work the land and plant trees (I can't wait to see those little saplings we planted grow!), and a few other maintenance tasks. Albano is great. Incredibly patient and very attentive when teaching. When I was there, I helped out during the winter, so we help more with hostel maintenance than on the land. it's a very relaxed atmosphere and I will always be grateful for the kindness with which they treated me from the first moment. <3

My experience at the hostel was fantastic. From the first day, our host Albano and the other volunteers welcomed me warmly and always made sure I was comfortable. We learned and worked on permaculture at Albano's farm, and we also contributed to many tasks at the hostel, such as building animal houses and furniture, general cleaning, digital work, and more. The working hours were flexible, which made it easy to plan our days, and I always had plenty of time to do what I wanted. I couldn't recommend this place more!!

This was my first volunteering experience and from day 1 Alban was extremely friendly, accommodating and understanding. He is very passionate about permaculture, always willing to take the time to explain things to you and teach you all he knows. I learned a great deal in the last month and plan to take this knowledge to my next volunteering experience and personal life. The other volunteers also made the stay here unforgettable. Definitely a home away from home, I absolutely recommend coming to Sarandë and doing things volunteering experience with Alban, you're not going to regret it!
