The Experience
We are a newly renovated but well-known hostel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with years of history in the Bukit Bintang district. I had an amazing time at the hostel in the heart of the hostel, Malaysia. The hosts, especially Pandu, Darcy, and Chris, were incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The central location made it convenient to explore the city, and the dormitory was clean and well-maintained. What made the experience truly special was the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow international travelers. The work was simple and flexible, allowing for a perfect balance between responsibilities and exploration. Overall, the hostel provided an exceptional stay, and I highly recommend it!

I recommend the hostel! It is in a great location surrounded by street food, clubs, bars, etc. the volunteer dorm had great AC & is gender separated. The work is *just* reception/ check ins/ socializing. The manager Darcy is very flexible with the schedule, which was great! ๐ The only improvementsโ local staff was constantly late for shift change. Also, when there was problems in the hostel, often times the owners didn't have any policies / rules in place for these situations, which sometimes was stressful. However, I still recommend it for a 1 month, short-term position in the hostel! thank you! ๐๐๐ฝ

I absolutely loved my time at dormskl. The managers (Alex and Zen) made me feel like family from the moment I arrived. The work was easy, enjoyable and flexible. I would highly recommend dormskl to anyone looking to volunteer in the hostel, its an amazing place.
