I've had an amazing few weeks in Fes. Lovely team and super easy tasks. I really enjoyed exploring the medina there's a lot of free time and the shits introduce you to lots of travellers. Home away from home. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to get to know the city and learn some darija :)

I stayed for a week in the hostel Fez volunteering doing photos and videos. My experience was really good, although I would say is a really relaxed place, so I had to insist a bit to get dinner (the cook was sick) and to know what I could do for them in term of photos. For the rest, is really nice vibe that the team and the space creates (cool roof top) so is very easy for you to interact and connect to other travellers. Really recommend the hostel Fez if you are tired of going to boring hostels where everything seems impersonal and cold. You will enjoy your time there.

The hostel was the oasis in a old city such as Fes. Right next to the Medina even in November is busy is labrintic and it's hot if the sun is out, but the hostel for me and for travelers all around has been an a quiet place and relaxing place. The days are gonna be samey but I don't mind the quiet moments of contemplation. Notice, this is no fancy hotel, the installation is not a lot but was a pleasant stay for me.

The reception work is pretty easy to do, the hostel is great, and Fes is a beautiful city! The only downside was the early lack of organization management had with the shifts, but we eventually got the hang of it. the hostel is a great experience for anyone wanting to know Moroccan culture (:

I've been in FunkFes for three weeks in october and there weren't many guest so during the shifts I had just a few things to do. It was a nice stay, I did enjoy my time and the city and Leila, Ghita and Samira made me feel like I was at home and I will always be grateful to them for the hospitality. I recommend to work at FunkyFes, but maybe during spring or summer when there are more guests and things to do :)

The hostel will always hold a special place in my heart as a home away from home! I had the best time working with other volunteers, getting to know Morocco, and immersing in the culture in Fes. The work is straightforward and the vibe at the hostel is perfectly chill. I loved my experience at the hostel and would recommend it to everyone!
