I had a wonderful month at the hostel! It's a very quiet and relaxing place that gives you lots of time to explore the surroundings area. Lelia is super friendly and kind and I felt very comfortable there!

The hostel is a pleasant hostel, the location is fantastic. Lilaa and the girls are very accommodating, despite being busy with schoolwork. Samira and Asisa are also wonderful, they do all of the housekeeping and prepare the breakfasts. Spending time with the other volunteers here truly made the experience special. Unfortunately the hostel could seriously use a bit more love and attention from the owner, who I did not meet during my stay. Things not working/breaking was a regular occurrence which became rather frustrating. This was clearly out of the staff who were there's control.

My time at the hostel was a great experience, it quickly became my second home. The girls working at the hostel are extremely kind and welcoming and made me feel like a part of the family & other volunteers made the time fly quickly. The work is more than easy, with shifts being only 4h of reception work per day, and all the cleaning being done by Samira. There are a few kinks to the hostel, sadly it's nothing that the management can quickly do anything about. It can get quite cold in the main area if you're coming in winter, so be prepared. I will definitely be back, even if just to visit!

The hostel is a charming hostel. The manager, Leila, is very welcoming and makes you feel like a friend from the start! The owner is also very friendly and a great resource for things to do around the old town and new city. One thing for volunteers to be aware of is that the riad can be quite cold in the winter months, but it is not too bad with a blanket and some warm clothes. There are a lot of cool people coming through the hostel, both guests and volunteers. I made some amazing and unexpected connections while volunteering here :)

Unfortunately, the stay at the hostel Fez did not turn out as expected and we left earlier. The worst part was that the building was very cold all the time since there was no heating. This made staying inside for your shifts very uncomfortable. The staff, Leila, Ghita, Samira and Asisa were friendly, but did not seem interested in interaction with us volunteers. When I got sick I was asked if I could work every day and did not feel comfortable taking my time to recover.

From the first second I arrived in the hostel, I was welcomed by Leila and Ghita in the best way I could imagine. Already after some days, I felt so comfortable in the hostel and the work was very easy and fast to learn (it's also possible to adapt your shifts). The hostel is perfect for meeting travelers and get in touch with new people. My only wish would be to still have more volunteers than just three, but except for that I can not complain at all. Also working together with Samira (the housekeeper) was so heartwarming and nice. One of the most beautiful hostels I've ever been at.

Leila, Ghita, and Samira are lovely and made my stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was great, tasks were as described and never too demanding! I enjoyed welcoming and chatting with guests from around the world. The hostel facilities, including our room and bathroom, were good and they have a well-equipped staff kitchen. I mostly stayed in the dormitory with only 2 other volunteers, so we had a lot of privacy. Having plenty of free time, I had the chance to explore the beautiful medina and some places nearby such as Meknés and Volubilis, immersing myself in the local culture. Highly recommended! ❤❤

Leila and Ghita weren't just my team, they became my friends. Laughs, food, hugs, work, movies, games, and many more things we shared together. The hostel is beautiful and I loved my time there so much I ended up extending one week. The work was super easy and the hours were always respected, plus Leila adapted the schedule to my work schedule because I work remote so she was super flexible and kind about it. They taught me so many Arabic words as well as traditional dancing. I dream of one day coming back and reuniting with my now friends. the hostel forever!

Such a fun experience and a good volunteer to immerse yourself in the culture. All the staff is extremely nice and make you feel comfortable since the moment you step in the hostel. I would really like to go back in the future to my second home, the hostel ❤️

I've had an amazing few weeks in Fes. Lovely team and super easy tasks. I really enjoyed exploring the medina there's a lot of free time and the shits introduce you to lots of travellers. Home away from home. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to get to know the city and learn some darija :)
