The Experience

We're looking for a friendly volunteer (or a couple) with bartending experience to help our staff run a busy pub at Hogmanay - aka New Year's Eve. Meet the locals and enjoy a quick trip to a beautiful island. If you'd like to stay longer, you'd be welcome to join us for a week or two to help with housekeeping and other tasks around the house.

Spent a month here and the staff and other volunteers truly created a sense of community and easy friendship. The island is small but beautiful and everyone is happy to help you out or go for a little trek if the rain isn't too bad

My experience in the hostel has been fantastic, the landscapes are absolutely wonderful, Everybody was really good and patient with me, and I have to say also that the food was amazing!! The hostel was my first experience with worldpackers and as such it was really good! The accommodation is only a problem if you have to stay in a tent, Freya does her best to fit everyone in a pod and those are really comfortable, but it might still happen. The work is easy if a bit tiring, I was housekeeping the whole time. Food is well served, you get breakfast, lunch and dinner, and access to the staff fridge at anytime. But the people are definitely the best part of the hostel, everyone is really nice and you will definitely make new friends. I spent three lovely weeks there, thanks guys :)
