Freya and the team welcomed me with open arms, everyone was very kind and quick to help if needed. It was a pleasure to part of such a fun and dynamic team and would recommend it to anybody. Fun, positive energy all round.

Spent a month here and the staff and other volunteers truly created a sense of community and easy friendship. The island is small but beautiful and everyone is happy to help you out or go for a little trek if the rain isn't too bad

The hostel was my first experience with worldpackers and as such it was really good! The accommodation is only a problem if you have to stay in a tent, Freya does her best to fit everyone in a pod and those are really comfortable, but it might still happen. The work is easy if a bit tiring, I was housekeeping the whole time. Food is well served, you get breakfast, lunch and dinner, and access to the staff fridge at anytime. But the people are definitely the best part of the hostel, everyone is really nice and you will definitely make new friends. I spent three lovely weeks there, thanks guys :)

I had the most amazing summer on the hostel. Most volunteers lived in pods (there were only a few who had to camp when the pods were full). Food is great, but show up right on time for meals or there will not be a lot of food left. Showers have hot water but sinks do not. The work is 5-6 days a week, usually 5 hours a day (I did housekeeping/waitressing). You have to learn quickly but staff is supportive if you have questions. I was able to participate in the outdoor activities. I got to meet people from all around the world; I have made lifelong friends here. It has been an unforgettable summer.

The hostel Island is absurdly and breathtakingly beautiful, and being able to be there in such a cheap way as volunteering is an opportunity that I wouldn't miss. As fot the work: housekeeping is easy and can be even fun. The accommodation is not comfortable if you're in a tent (if you're from a hot weather country or not used to camping in the rain) so make sure you get to be in a pod before going or go prepared for the night cold (even in the summer). The food is good and the staff is amazing: being a vegan there wasn't a problem. There are wonderful people in the island. I highly recommend it.

I could honestly sit here and write a book about how much I LOVED my experience at the hostel... but I won't. All I can say is that I am very glad that I made the trip there and now have made lifelong friends. The views are breathtaking, the people are warm and welcoming, and the culture is unforgettable. I just left and I already can't wait to return ! Much love and thanks to Freya and the whole staff for everything... I'll be back soon !

I arrived at the hostel in October and stayed until the beginning of December. The landscapes and views were absolutely beautiful but the weather was not very nice for outdoor activities. There's not much to do around, just to explore the island and its surroundings. The work hours and tasks are fair and easy so you will have quite a lot of spare time. This is the right spot if you're looking to disconnect from the real world and find some peace.
