Sta per terminare l'inverno e l'orto richiede più aiuto del solito in vista della primavera e dell'estate. In questo periodo ho bisogno di aiuto per piantare alberi e seminare nuovi ortaggi per l'autosufficienza alimentare per me e per gli ospiti del mio Home Restaurant Soleluna a Castiadas, un territorio molto bello da visitare con spiagge bellissime e possibilità di fare escursioni nei dintorni. Ho anche dei simpatici animali da compagnia

Maria and Ivo are caring and made me feel welcome. The house is spacious, surrounded by nature, and the animals are wonderful. My room was comfortable after a good cleaning, which I did myself. Sardinia is amazing, and I loved exploring by bike and practicing my Italian. Collecting olives was enjoyable. I'd recommend this place if you're comfortable with solitude (no friends here!) and can be patient with some communication issues, especially regarding shifts and days off, which sometimes made it hard to plan my free time. Overall, I'm grateful. Thank you for having me.

I had to leave early due to a family emergency, but after a week with Maria and Ivo, I can share my experience. Ivo is respectful, friendly, and teaches with ease. Maria is kind and cooks wonderfully, but has difficulty delegating and there's no clear program. On dinner days (3 times a week) she gets stressed and asks for extra hours; once I worked 8h instead of the agreed schedule. These dinners should be mentioned as they end past midnight. The place is beautiful, but the beach is 1.5h away on a dangerous road, better for couples or those with a car.

Mi spiace che non ti sei trovata bene. Non delego in cucina perché i volontari cambiano e i clienti, se si trovano bene, ritornano. Mi spiace se hai sentito il peso del lavoro e se è capitato di lavorare più del necessario. Di solito, quando e se capita, quelle ore si possono recuperare con una giornata in più libera. L'ho sempre fatto e nessun volontario finora si è lamentato. Io credo di dedicare anche del tempo ai volontari portandoli anche al mare o facendo visitare la zona, a mie spese

The structure is beautiful and the animals and plants that are there allow a beautiful energy. Unfortunately the owner Maria Antonietta was not able to explain what kind of job she wanted. She requests a home restaurant service at the volonteers work 6 hours in the evening 2/3 times a week without counting them in the working hours.There are actually hardly any days off.Unfortunately, the agreements envisaged by her were not respected and finally to conclude my experience the owner decided to literally "throw" my things out of the house!!!

Laura e' stata accolta molto volentieri, come tutti i volontari del resto. Purtroppo il suo comportamento poco educato e rispettoso nei miei confronti ha fatto terminare il suo volontariato in maniera brusca. Per fortuna ho avuto tanti altri volontari e tutti con un pensiero positivo per me.

I would recomend the experience to all worldpackers! Maria is an amazing woman full of energy and experiences, you learn a lot, not only about the nature but also about life. She welcomes everybody and you fell at home since the begining, she is just amazing. Coming back next year for sure!
