My experience here was fantastic. The team here is really caring and you become like a family. If you need help with anything they are always there to help you. Really easy and fun work, do recommend!!

Overall I would say that my experience at the home was pretty good. The staff was nice and we got to eat great local foods together. The job itself isn't too hard but it can get a bit tiring after some time since you have to socialise a lot (a lot of small talk with the guests). The provided room wasn't the cosiest but still fine. We had some issues with the previous manager who was in charge of the volunteers but I hope that this will be fixed. If you're an outgoing person and would like to stay in a nice town for some time I would recommend volunteering at the home.

The home & Restorant itself was a beautiful experience and i had a lot of fun with guests, staff and the owners of the place. My job was it to entertain guests, but also get them to go into the home in the first place. I dont mind doing other tasks aswell, and i had a lot of fun helping around the home. The food we got was really good and three meals a day is more than enough. BUT my great experience was (kinda) ruined by the rude manager Lawrence, who runs Worldpackers for the Wowbar. He insulted staff, guests and volunteers. He was drunk all the time and didnt work at all. Glad he was gone!

We did not want to accept this volunteer as he had no experience and was very argumentative and did not want to work. Constantly tried to sneak his friends in for free and ask for free drinks constantly. He left before the agreed date and as manager my job is to oversee not do jobs for him. One of the worse volunteers ive ever worked with would not invite back.
