We run an English-teaching volunteer project in Chiang Mai, Thailand where international volunteers teach English to Thai people in exchange for free accommodation and meals. The place is absolutely peaceful and beautiful, and you can truly connect with nature there. The staff are very kind and welcoming. Two meals are provided during the day, so if you want to have breakfast, that's up to you. The classes are not too heavy and are well prepared. There was also a BBQ area, so we could enjoy barbecues together. There is plenty of space to relax, chill, play, or meditate, which makes the experience even better.One important recommendation: please bring mosquito repellent, as the mosquitoes are quite aggressive.Overall, my experience was amazing.
