I really had an amazing time here at tetebatu, the work is very easy and it doesn't take long to get it done, you have a lot of free time to explore the nature here in tetebatu, the people are very kind and lovely, you become quickly a part of the family. Its also fun to meet a lot of international travelers. If I come back to lombok will for sure come back to this place, thank you for giving me this lovely experience.

I had 2 great weeks in Tetebatu.
Cleaning the hostel takes about an hour after check-out and that’s pretty much all the work you do!!

You work/sleep at the hostel but can use the facilities at samasama where there’s a big hangout area, a pool and live music every Saturday

The food is the BEST I’ve had in Indonesia! And everyone you meet are truly kind and fun to be around!

This is not for you if you’re looking to party or do a lot of activities. Come here to connect with nature and locals!

Thank you Libin, Aja, Ida, Ross, Figho, Juan, Igel and the rest of the team💗

My time at Tetebatu was very nice! The work was very manageable and easy to do each day, and I had plenty of time to explore Tetebatu. What I loved most was the community - the locals and the host are just so kind here and I felt a sense of togetherness, it was heartwarming to bond with everyone through conversations and music. It was unfortunate that I had gotten food poisoning prior to starting the volunteering, but even then the host was very accommodating.

Tetebatu is a special little town immersed in the jungle. The hostel is simple, but very nice. The work is easy and it’s very flexible.

I met a lot of amazing travelers passing by this hostel. Inspiring and kind people.

Libor is easy to communicate with and very kind and easy going. The local family is super sweet as well.

I ended up staying only 10 days instead of 1 month because this was enough for me. I missed a little bit of the connection with people staying long term and I felt a little bit like it was a strong patriarchal environment which was not for me. But I’m happy I came :)
